How iReport previews

Of course, you need to select the report you want to generate in the preview menu.

There are office series, there are pdf. And so on and so forth.

For beginners, it is recommended to use domestic software such as finereport, which is easier.

1.Export format.

PDF: Export PDF file;

Excel: Export Excel format file, which is divided into pagination export, as-is export, and pagination sheet export.

word: export Word format file, does not support exporting floating elements, please refer to Word export for details.

Note: Exporting a report to Word does not support exporting different page setups under floating elements and multi-sheets; Excel does not support some tags in HTML, cell background only supports solid color, and when exporting to **, it is not recommended to use GIF format, you can use png instead, because exporting GIF requires a large memory.

Also: Aggregate reports and forms don't support exports.

2.Steps.

Preview the template, click the output in the toolbar, and you can export the template in multiple formats, as shown in the following figure:

Note: If the template has parameters, you need to query the data before you can click the output to export.

3.Example.

Let's take exporting to PDF as an example to illustrate how to export to PDF.

Open the template. Open the template: %fr home%\webreport\web-infeportlets.

Pagination preview. Click Pagination Preview, select the parameters, and then click Query.

Export. Click the Output button on the toolbar and select the PDF format, and a dialog box will pop up as shown in the following figure:

Click Save and select the save path to export the data to PDF format.

I don't know if the method of ireport is the same as the finereport I use, after connecting the data source, drag and drop the required into the designer to make the corresponding report, if you want to see the effect, there is a preview, you can pagination preview, fill in the preview, data analysis, you can view the effect.

Add the data source to iReport, and then precompile it to see the effect.

If the data source is SQL or an external file, it can be configured in the report, and there is a preview option in iReport to preview it, and if it is generated by the program, the program needs to be called

If it is not displayed in Chinese, each text and fileid in the page you pull in have corresponding attributes, and your properties are pulled to the bottom, setting pdf font name is now ...You set it to stsong-light, pdf embedded with a checkmark, pdf encoding and select unigb-ucs2-h (Chinese sim..))

If you're saying that the HTML display is not the same as the back PDF display, this might be a decoding issue. After all, it's not the same format, a little difference is still acceptable, as for how to solve it, or adjust the template,

See if the pdf configuration is wrong, I have also encountered before, pdf encoding should be configured to unigb-ucs2-h (Chinese simplified), not unigb-ucs2-v (Chinese simplified).

You open jrxml or jasper with ireport; After the modification, directly click on the database preview function that is not applicable, and the jasper file will be generated in the temporary folder; It is usually located in the root directory of iReport.

I use finereport, which I find more convenient to use.

iReport is automatically paginated according to your page size, for example, if your result set has 100 records, and your custom page height can only display 25 records per page, then:

iReport is automatically split into 4 pages.

We just need to set the height of the detail.

Or you can use the program-controlled pagination implementation to do so:

Define a variable to display the sequence number of each record, then click edit---insert page break, and write the expression in the print when expression, as follows:

new boolean($20 ==0) total is the total amount of data, so that it will automatically paginate every 20 items displayed!

In ireport, when your report does not find any data by default, it will be displayed: the document has no pages, if you want to appear when there is no data, the preview window will also appear, (assuming your ireport language is Chinese Simplified), then right-click the report and select "Properties" --more "when no data" in "all sections, no detail" on it, If no data is found in the report, a preview window is displayed.
