What does it mean to carry a burden like a family business?

The "husband" of "three husbands" means "adult men".

Excerpt from the original text: Miscellaneous said: "Cast into the tail of the Bohai Sea, the north of the hidden land." Then he led his descendants to carry the burden of the three husbands, knocked on the stone to reclaim the soil, and transported it to the end of the Bohai Sea. The widow of the neighbor's Jingcheng clan has a widowed man, and he jumped to help him. The cold and summer are easy to change, and the beginning is reversed.

Interpretation: The people said, "Throw it on the edge of the Bohai Sea, to the north of the hidden land."

So Yugong led three of his children and grandchildren who could carry the burden (up the mountain), chiseled stones, dug up the soil, and transported them to the shore of the Bohai Sea with a basket. The widow of the neighboring Jingcheng clan had an orphan, who was just seven or eight years old, and jumped up and down to help him. When the seasons change between winter and summer, you can only make a round trip once.

The load is like coming. Family business: refers to the diligent practice, the promotion of the Dharma, and the transformation of sentient beings.

Nan Wu Pure Sangha: refers to one of the three refuges, taking refuge in the Sangha.

These three sentences are incoherent, not a whole sentence, and cannot be explained in a whole sentence.

The family business refers to the business of the family.

It refers to the work done by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. A person who has developed bodhichitta can be called a bodhisattva, that is, a person who wishes that all sentient beings will attain the fruits of Buddhahood and who practice for that purpose.

The most fundamental way for Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to transform sentient beings is to preach the corresponding methods of Buddhahood according to their different foundational desires.

Therefore, the family business of Nyorai is to learn all kinds of Dharma by yourself, preach for sentient beings, guide them to liberate themselves from the suffering of samsara, and eventually become Buddhas.

The first half of this vow is to give them temporary human happiness. The second half is the root wish for them to attain the attainment of Buddhahood.

But I should add one more thing: May all sentient beings be associated with me. Because a bodhisattva does not abandon a single sentient being.

This is a vow:

I hope that from now on, I will work hard to achieve supreme enlightenment as soon as possible, so that I can take on the Buddha's responsibility of educating sentient beings.

After I become a Buddha, I hope that the sentient beings who are destined for me will be able to be happy in this world under my teaching, and will no longer have the pain of lack of food and clothing, and will be able to practice well, attain supreme enlightenment as soon as possible, and become a Buddha as soon as possible.

The wish that we make on a regular basis, to be precise, cannot be called a wish, is a kind of hope.

The fulfillment of wishes can be called wishes.

For the Buddha who has just begun to study, it is not recommended to join the cause of Lisheng immediately, and it is easy to retreat because of some undesirable conditions before Wen Si does not lead to a firm belief and understanding. It is better to first reincarnate in the Pure Land of Bliss of Amitabha Buddha, and then return to the sampa to benefit sentient beings.

You are mistaken. There is no burden as a defense.

Buddhism often says: Burdens are like family inheritance. It means to inherit the cause of propagating the Dharma and benefiting people.

If the burden comes to Hongbei and the family business is destroyed, it mainly points out the family. Monks should bear the burden of the cause of Rulai, and promote the Dharma and benefit life.
