I have forgotten the lock screen password of my laptop, how do I turn on the computer?

Is the lock screen not the same as booting? Just turn it back on.

If you forgot your PIN and can't unlock your laptop, here's how you can do it:

1. If you have forgotten your PIN and cannot enter your Microsoft account password to enter the system, please follow the steps below to reset your PIN to enter the system.

1.Please confirm that your computer is connected to a network that can access the Internet on the login screen, and then click "I forgot my PIN" (this interface is the Microsoft login interface, not the local login interface);

2.Verify your Microsoft account password;

3.If your Microsoft account has a mobile phone number bound to it, please select to send SMS to the mobile phone number, and you need to verify the last four digits of your mobile phone number before sending the SMS;

4.Enter the verification code received by your bound mobile phone number, and then click "Verify".

5.After the verification is successful, there will be a confirmation prompt to reset the PIN, please click Confirm;

6.Then follow the prompts to enter the new PIN, after the setting is completed, click OK, you can enter the system, and you can use the newly set PIN to log in to the system.
