When the cylinder is not working, the cylinder injector will still inject fuel, and the fuel mixture in the cylinder may become fuel vapor after the compression temperature rises, resulting in white smoke when exhausting. In this case, the production of white smoke is often accompanied by a decrease in engine power and a decrease in power.
Troubleshooting of such faults can also be done using the cylinder-by-cylinder break-off method. Determine that one or several cylinders do not burn, and then carry out the next step of investigation of the cause of non-combustion.
Coolant into the cylinder will also make the exhaust produce white smoke, the principle is the same as too much water in the fuel, the coolant into the cylinder may be due to the cylinder liner cracks or gasket damage, high temperature and high pressure coolant into the cylinder after high temperature and high pressure, in the exhaust will form white water vapor.
