1. Listening

CELPIP's listening is much easier than IELTS. First of all, ZEPE has a Canadian accent and sounds very relaxed. And IELTS is a British accent, which I personally find stiff to hear.

Secondly, CELPIE's listening is basically a test of scenes in daily life, which is easier to understand. But there are also one or two scenarios that are more difficult to understand, such as professional and academic.

Again, CELPIP Listening is all multiple-choice questions, while IELTS Listening has partial fill-in-the-blank questions. Compared to IELTS, I am more suitable for CELPIP listening. The results of the two exams can differ by several levels.

2. Read

I think the difficulty of CELPIP reading is similar to that of IELTS G reading. Except for one article that is quite difficult, the rest of the articles are very simple and easy to get high scores. IELTS G is not very difficult to read, but it is not particularly easy to get the above high score.

3. Writing

CELPIP's writing is simpler than IELTS writing, the topics are much simpler than IELTS, and there is more to say. Moreover, Zepee's writing can automatically correct words, that is, correct the spelling of words with the right click. This is simply a blessing for candidates who are usually prone to misspelling words.

In addition, there is a lot of time for the writing test, and even I, a person who is slow to type in English, have a lot of time left after checking it several times after writing. It's not like the IELTS test, the time is tight, and I almost get stuck in time to write the last word every time. But it is not easy for Zepee to get a high score in writing, and there is a feeling that he can't go up when he reaches the bottleneck.

4. Speaking

In the first three exams, CELPIP basically beat IELTS. But on the speaking test, it's definitely IELTS ko. After the CELPIP speaking test, I will feel very overwhelmed.

Imagine that you are making your point in front of a cold computer. You have half a minute to prepare, the computer automatically timers, and then the computer automatically starts recording, and you start talking, speaking for a minute or a minute and a half, and the recording automatically turns off. I often don't know what to say to the computer, and my mind goes blank;

Or if it doesn't go well in the front, the jar will be broken in the back, either just talk nonsense, or just shut up and wait for the time to pass. And in an examination room, twenty or thirty people, everyone is cracking and talking and interfering with each other. If your voice is a little louder, the examiner will come and remind you to keep your voice down.

For candidates whose native language is not English, the test is really quite congested. And IELTS is to talk to the examiner as a real person, you can interact with the examiner, you can have eye contact, you can also have body language. My friends and I basically have a big difference in the scores of Cosper Speaking and IELTS Speaking.
