There are several reasons why only the mouse pointer appears when the computer is turned on and does not show the desktop
1. The system file is running wrong, in this case, you can try to restart the computer: restart the computer normally in the current state, or press the Ctrl+Alt+Del three keys to restart (as shown in the figure below), or press the host restart key to restart the computer, or press and hold the power button to force the shutdown and then reboot, if you can enter the system operation normally, it means that the last abnormal is only an occasional system file running error, which is irrelevant.
2. Virus infection or application incompatibility, etc., you can try to fix it: if you can't enter the system normally frequently, press F8 immediately after booting to see if you can enter the safe mode or configure the correct mode for the last time, if so, the system will automatically repair the registry after entering, and recall what operations were carried out when the first few abnormal phenomena occurred, and according to the suspicion that a certain application software (or driver) caused the problem, uninstall it, and then exit normally, and then restart it should be able to enter normal mode. If you have security software installed, you can use 360 Security Guard plus 360 Antivirus or Kingsoft Antivirus and other similar security software in safe mode to scan and kill Trojans and viruses, and clean up and optimize your computer.
1) Prepare the system CD: If you don't have it, you can go to the computer store to buy it, and you can buy the latest version of the CD of whatever system you need to install. If you have a burning CD-ROM drive, you can also go online and burn the system files in ISO format to a system CD.
2) Set the CD to boot: After booting up, press the DEL key (the notebook is generally F2 or the hotkey prompted at the bottom of the screen) to enter the CMOS, and set the CD-ROM (CD-ROM or ***-ROM) as the first boot item in the BOOT tab (the old motherboard needs to enter the Advanced BIOS Features tab, press Enter at the "1st Boot Device", and then select CD ***-ROM), and then press F10 to save and exit the reboot. Insert the system disc into the optical drive in time when you restart the computer.
3) Clone and install the system: After the disc is successfully started, the function menu will be displayed, at this time, select "Install the system to the first partition of the hard disk" in the menu, press enter to confirm and follow the prompts, or after entering the PE system, run the "one-click installation system" on the desktop, the computer will automatically run the GHOST software to automatically load the GHO file and clone and install it to the C area, the whole process basically does not require manual intervention, until the last entry into the system desktop.
Note: After the installation of the system is completed, first install security software such as 360 Security Guard plus 360 Antivirus or Kingsoft Antivirus and other security software, conduct a comprehensive check and kill Trojans and viruses, and then patch the system, install common software, and install a one-click restore tool for system backup, in case of emergency.

After the computer is turned on, only the mouse arrows are not displayed on the desktop, the possible causes and solutions are as follows:
Restart the computer: In the current state, either press the console restart button to restart the computer, or press and hold the power button first to force the computer to shut down and then restart it.
If the error message no longer appears and you are able to enter the system operation normally, it means that the last abnormal time was only an occasional program or system operation error, and it does not matter.
Repair the system: If you can't enter the system normally frequently, press F8 immediately after booting up to see if you can enter safe mode or configure the correct mode for the last time.
If so, the system will automatically repair the registry, recall what was done the first few times the abnormal phenomenon occurred, and uninstall it if you suspect that an application (or driver) is causing the problem.
Then exit normally, and restart again to enter normal mode.
If you have security software installed, you can use 360 Security Guard plus 360 Antivirus or Kingsoft Antivirus and other similar security software in safe mode to clean up your computer, optimize and accelerate (remove redundant boot auto-start programs, defragment hard disks, etc.) and check and kill Trojans and viruses.
