Throwing the discus requires a good spin, and if the spin is solid, it will be easy for the discus to follow the correct route.
Rules:1 Lots shall be drawn to determine the order in which the athletes will try toss.
2 If there are more than 8 athletes, they should promise to try 3 throws each, and the top 8 athletes with the best effective results can try 3 more throws, and the order of the throws is reversed from the ranking after the first 3 throws. If the 8th place finish is tied at the end of the 3rd throw, Rule 1463 will apply. When there are only 8 or fewer players in the competition, each person can try 6 throws.
3. Before the start of the competition, athletes can train and try throwing at the competition venue, and the training should be carried out in the order arranged by lot, and always under the supervision of the referee.
4 Once the competition has begun, athletes are not allowed to train with equipment, whether they are holding equipment or not, and they are not allowed to use throwing rings or ground training within the landing area to try throwing.
5 The discus should be thrown from within the throwing circle. Athletes must start the throw from a stationary position. Allow the athlete to touch the inside of the hoop.
6 (a) Do not allow any device to be used to assist the athlete in the throwing. For example, using a strap to tie two or more fingers together. Bandages or adhesive bandages should not be used on the hands except for open injuries that require dressing.
b) Do not use gloves.
c) In order to be able to hold the equipment better, the athlete may use a substance, but only with both hands.
d) To prevent spinal injuries, athletes may wear a strap made of leather or other suitable materials.
e) Do not allow the athlete to spray any substance into the ring or the soles of their shoes.
7 If any part of the athlete's body touches the outer rim or the upper edge of the hoop after entering the ring and starting the attempt, the attempt is a failure.
8 If the above rules are violated during the attempt, the athlete may abort the attempt that has already been started and may place the equipment in or out of the ring, subject to paragraph 11 of this article.
, you can leave the throw ring and return to the ring to start the throw again from a stationary position.
Note: All steps promised in this paragraph shall be included within the time limit for a test throw set out in rule 142.4
9. The discus must completely fall within the inner edge of the angle line of the landing area, and the trial production is effective.
10. After each effective test throw, the results should be measured immediately. Take a straight line from the nearest point of the discus landing mark to the inner edge of the iron circle, and the measurement line should pass through the center of the throwing circle.
11. Athletes can only leave the throwing ring after the equipment hits the ground. When leaving the throwing circle, the upper edge of the iron ring or the outer port of the circle must be completely behind the outer cycloid, and the extension line on the back edge of the white line should be able to pass through the center of the throwing circle.
12. The instrument should be transported back to the throwing ring, and it is not allowed to be thrown back.
13. The best throw result of each athlete, including the result of the final race in which the first place result is equal, shall be the final decision result.
