Visiting the Taoist priest of Dai Tianshan is not met
Li bai. In the sound of the dog barking in the water, the peach blossoms are dewy.
When the tree is deep, I see deer, and I don't hear the bell at noon.
The wild bamboo is divided into green haze, and Feiquan Ming pretends to be a cheating and hangs on Bifeng.
No one knows where to go, and they are sad to rely on two or three pines.
Li Baishi appreciation:
Dai Tianshan, also known as Dakang Mountain or Dakuang Mountain, is in present-day Jiangyou County, Sichuan Province. This poem was written by the young Li Bai when he was studying in Daming Temple in this mountain.
The whole poem has eight sentences, and the first six sentences are written to "visit", focusing on painting the scenery and the scenery is beautiful; The last two sentences write "do not meet", focusing on lyricism and tactfulness.
The first two lines of the poem show a paradise scene. The first sentence writes what he heard, "in the sound of the dog barking water", the spring water is murmuring, and the dog barking faintly; The second sentence writes what is seen; "Peach blossom with dew" peach blossom with dew, bright and dazzling. The tone is clear and the scenery is picturesque.
The poet walks by the stream, through the forest into the mountains. This is the first journey into the mountain, the pleasant scenery, so that the ** even forget to return, but also reminiscent of the Taoist priest living here, such as a paradise, beyond the world. In the second sentence, the three words "with Lunong", in addition to coloring the peach blossoms, also point out that the time to enter the mountain is in the morning, which reflects the "Xiwu" in the next couplet.
"When the tree is deep, I see the deer, and I don't hear the bell at noon", which is the poet's second journey into the mountain. The poet walks along the forest paths, and from time to time elk are infested; Lin Shen has a long road, and when he came to the stream, it was noon, and it was time for the Taoist Academy to ring the bell, but he couldn't hear the bell. These two sentences exaggerate the tranquility of the mountain, implying that the Taoist priest has gone out.
Deer are quiet and often active in the depths of the woods. Since "I see the deer from time to time", it shows its quietness. At noon, the bell is faint, and only the sound of the stream can be clearly heard, which adds to the tranquility of the surroundings.
The environment is quiet, and it is just connected with the peach source scene written by the first couplet. These two sentences implicitly narrate: "when you see a deer", you don't see anyone; "Don't hear the bell" implies that there is no one in the Taoist temple.
The neck couplet "wild bamboo divides into green mist, and the flying spring hangs on the blue peak", which is the poet's third journey into the mountain. From the previous lack of volt couplet "do not hear the bell", it can be associated with the poet is still some distance away from the Taoist Academy. This couplet writes about the scene I saw before I came to the Taoist courtyard - the Taoist priest was not there, but I saw the green bamboo that blended into the green mountains and the blue peaks hanging on it.
Waterfall only. The poet's pen is ingenious and delicate: the sentence "wild bamboo" uses the word "fen" to express the convergence of two similar hues of wild bamboo and green haze into a piece of green; The sentence "Feiquan" uses the word "hanging" to show that the white Feiquan and the Qingbi Mountain Peak contrast with each other.
Obviously, because the Taoist priest was not there, the poet was bored, so he looked around and carefully watched the scenery in front of him.
Therefore, these two sentences can not only show the indifference and nobility of the pure land of the Taoist Academy, but also appreciate the poet's feelings of not being lost when he visits.
At the end of the two sentences, "no one knows where to go, and I am sad to rely on two or three pines", the poet writes the fact of "not meeting" from the side in the way of inquiry, and expresses the melancholy of "not meeting" with the repeated actions of Yi Song, with a slight detour with the pen, and the feelings also flow with the trend for a long time.
There is not a word of Taoist priests, there is no sentence that they do not meet, but every sentence is not met, and every sentence is that they do not meet Taoist priests. (Wu Dashou's "Poetry Raft") shows the beauty of this poem.

Visiting Dai Tianshan Taoist priest did not meet Li Bai.
In the sound of the dog barking in the water, the peach blossoms are dewy.
When the tree is deep, I see deer, and I don't hear the bell at noon.
The wild bamboo is divided into green mist, and the flying spring hangs on the blue peak.
No one knows where to go, and they are sad to rely on two or three pines.
About the author] Li Bai (701-762 AD) was the most famous poet of the Tang Dynasty and one of the greatest poets in Chinese history. His poems are magnificent, elegant, imaginative, flowing, rhyme and beauty, and his physique is changeable.
Explanation: Li Bai studied in Daming Temple in Dai Tianshan in his early years. Once I went to visit a Taoist priest in the mountains, but I didn't see him, so I wrote this beautiful and affectionate five-character poem.
Dai Tianshan, also known as Dakang Mountain or Dakuang Mountain, is in present-day Jiangyou County, Sichuan Province. Bark:
The sound of a dog barking. Points: Distinguish, separate.
Mist: Clouds. The clouds and mist in the mountains are contrasted with green, so it is called "green mist".
Flying Spring: Spring water that falls from a high mountain. Lean:
Lean. The whole poem is talked] I faintly heard the dog barking in the sound of the murmuring spring, and the rich peach blossoms increased the morning dew.
Elk are often seen on the road deep in the forest, but the bell is not heard at noon by the stream.
Wild bamboos can barely be discerned in the green clouds, and falling flowing springs hang on the green mountainside.
No one knew that the Taoist priest had gone, and I repeatedly leaned on the pine tree in my depression.
The implication is that the mountain is silent in the hail, and there are few people, and the dogs there are particularly sensitive, and when they hear someone entering the mountain, they bark from afar. The sound of the cry mixed with the sound of the spring is different, and it has a different flavor. The peach blossoms in the mountains carry the morning dew, which is more colorful and sultry, which can not help but remind people of the peach garden, adding a super-dusty atmosphere to the mountain residence of Taoist priests.
Wild deer do not like to sail and see people, only in the deep forest, the author often sees, can know that they have gone to the deep mountains and dense forests. At noon, I walked to a stream, but I didn't hear the bell that should be in the Taoist temple, suggesting that the Taoist stove picker had gone out and was not in the temple. The clouds and mist in the mountains are also dyed with the green of the environment, and it is difficult to distinguish clearly with the green of the wild bamboo.
The flying spring descending from the sky resembles a long white ribbon, hanging between the green peaks. However, the Taoist priest whom the author sincerely wanted to visit did not know where to go, and the author was helpless in a depressed state of mind and repeatedly leaned back to the pine tree and waited, hoping that he would suddenly appear in front of him. However, he never showed up.
It can be seen from this poem that Li Bai has been keen to visit the Tao and seek immortals since his youth, and is full of longing and reverence for the life of cultivators, and even the environment in which cultivators live has become extraordinarily beautiful in his pen, and with an otherworldly fairyland atmosphere. The practice of visiting the Tao to seek immortals, and even personally refining and cultivating pills, has never stopped in Li Bai's life. Although his final fate is not clearly recorded in the history books, the special way in which he died has always been a mystery that some people speculate.
