Hello, the general clamp grounding resistance tester is widely used in the grounding resistance measurement of electric power, telecommunications, meteorology, oilfield, construction and industrial electrical equipment.
We usually also call it single jaw ground resistance tester, clamp ground resistance tester, clamp ground resistance meter, clamp ground resistance meter, clamp ground resistance meter, etc., specific experiments.
1.Before turning on the machine, squeeze the trigger once or twice to make sure the jaws are well closed.
Press the power button to enter the power-on state, first test the LCD display automatically, and its symbols are all displayed. Then start the self-test, and during the self-test, "cal6, cal5, cal4..." will be displayed in turncal0, ol", see Figure 2. When "ol" appears, the self-test is completed and the resistance measurement mode is automatically entered.

When the self-test is completed, the display symbol "ol" is displayed at the same time, as shown in Figure 5. Because the no-load resistance "ol" has exceeded the critical value of resistance alarm.
4.Shutdown. After the clamp meter is turned on, press the power button to power off.
After 5 minutes of powering on, the LCD screen enters the flashing state, and the flashing state lasts for 30 seconds and then automatically shuts down to reduce battery consumption. Press the power button in the flashing state to delay the shutdown, and the clamp watch will continue to work.

Clamp ground resistance tester is also known as clamp ground resistance tester, English name is clamp-on ground resistance tester or ground resistance tester. It is widely used in the measurement of grounding resistance of electric power, telecommunications, meteorology, oil fields, buildings and industrial electrical equipment. The clamp grounding resistance meter does not need to disconnect the grounding wire or auxiliary electrode when measuring the grounding system with loops, which is safe, fast and easy to use.
The clamp resistance meter can measure the ground fault that cannot be measured by the traditional method, and can be used in the occasion that the traditional method cannot be measured, because the clamp earth resistance meter measures the combined value of the resistance of the ground body and the resistance of the ground lead. Clamp earthing resistance meters are divided into long jaws and round jaws. The long jaws are particularly suitable for the occasion of flat steel grounding.
Measuring principle. 1 Resistance Measurement Principle.
The basic principle of measuring ground resistance with a clamp earth resistance meter is to measure the loop resistance. The jaw part of the clamp meter is composed of a voltage coil and a current coil. The voltage coil provides an excitation signal and induces a potential e on the loop under test.
Under the action of the electric potential e, a current i will be generated in the loop to be measured. The clamp meter measures E and I, and the measured resistance r can be obtained by the following formula.
2 Current Measurement Principle.
The basic principle of measuring current in a clamp earth resistance meter is the same as that of a current transformer. The alternating current i of the measured wire generates an induced current i1 through the current magnetic ring of the jaw and the current coil, and the clamp meter measures i1, and the measured current i can be obtained by the following formula.
The double jaw grounding resistance tester is suitable for testing the grounding resistance of various equipment and building grounding devices. Soil resistivity can also be measured under a wide range of conditions. In addition to the function of traditional auxiliary ground electrode measurement of ground resistance, the instrument also has the unique function of unassisted ground electrode measurement, which changes the traditional measurement principle and means of testing ground resistance. >>>More
The grounding resistance measuring instrument abandons the traditional manual hand-cranked power generation working mode, adopts advanced medium and large-scale integrated circuits, and uses DC AC conversion technology to combine the three-terminal button and four-end button measurement methods into a new type of grounding resistance measuring instrument. The working principle is that the DC converter in the machine converts DC into AC low-frequency constant current, through the auxiliary grounding electrode C and the DUT E to form a loop, the AC voltage drop is generated on the DUT, which is sent to the AC amplifier for amplification through the auxiliary grounding electrode P, and then sent to the meter head display through the detection. With the help of the magnification switch, three different limits can be obtained: >>>More

For the neutral point non-grounding system, such as the 6-35kv system used in most parts of China, when a high-voltage line is disconnected and falls to the ground for various reasons, the phase voltage of this line at this time is close to 0, the specific value depends on the grounding situation, the current at the grounding point is the grounding capacitor current, at this time, the gate of the superior substation will not trip, and the regulations can continue to run for 2 hours. >>>More
