Aoyama Tsuyomasa was born on June 21, 1963 in Tottori Prefecture, Japan, and has a blood type B. Japanese manga artist.

Representative works include "Detective Conan", "Magic Fight", "Yaiba", "No. 4 Third Base" and so on. In 1986, Aoyama Gosho was shortlisted for the 19th Shogakukan Newcomer Manga Award with "Waiting for Me", and made his debut with this work. In 1992, he won the 38th Shogakukan Manga Award Children's Manga Unit for "Yaiba".

Creative career:

Aoyama Gosho University studied fine arts at Nihon University Faculty of Arts. As soon as he arrived at university, he broke free from the shackles of his parents and boldly joined the manga research club.

Originally, Aoyama wanted to enter Tokyo Film as a painting supervisor, but at the recommendation of Hiroyuki Yano, a senior in the same club, Aoyama decided to make a manga artist his goal. At the time, Aoyama was still working as an assistant in the studio of alumnus and manga artist Yutaka Abe.
