I am an MBA who was admitted to Renmin University in 17 years, and I would like to share some of my interview process and experience:

Chinese University MBA admissions adopts the policy of "early approval interview". Applicants must attend an early interview before taking the joint entrance examination, and the Business School of Renmin University will conduct a comprehensive background assessment based on the registration information submitted by the candidates online, and conduct a more in-depth pre-interview investigation of the qualified candidates according to the background assessment results.

1. Preparation of background materials:

Upload electronic versions of graduation certificates, degree certificates, English level certificates, award certificates, professional titles and vocational qualification certificates, income certificates, company organization charts, university transcripts, business cards, front and back of ID cards, etc. If you are self-employed, upload the company's business license, articles of association, financial statements and other information.

Fill in your personal information, educational background, and work background truthfully. Don't wait until next year to do a background check and disqualify if you find that the information doesn't match. Additional information: Try to find some certificates here to fill in the blanks. Any certificate is a plus.

Self-evaluation: This is definitely the most headache for all students. Essay questions are more important, and basically most of the interview questions revolve around these essay questions. I basically wrote more than 3,000 words of the essay questions of the National People's Congress, prepared for more than 10 hours, and revised them 5 times before sending them to the teachers of Beijing Huazhang.

The teacher also changed 2 drafts before and after, and it was very necessary to prepare with "heart".

Letters of recommendation are also of concern to you. You don't necessarily need a big cow to write your recommendation letter, I don't think the National People's Congress is too concerned about this. Because the letter of recommendation needs to be written by someone else, it is necessary to send it to the recommender early to prepare.

2. Pre-interview session:

1.Personal interviews.

Regarding the personal interview, the basic teachers of the National People's Congress will ask questions around the content of the work, and will start from the content of the online application materials, so the personal statement should be prepared well before. I was basically not asked any standard questions in this interview---Why do you want to study for an MBA?" and "Why do you want to take the National People's Congress?" "What can you bring to the NPC", "What are your strengths and weaknesses", etc.

2.Group interviews.

The group meeting of the National People's Congress lasts for 45 minutes, and the teacher will introduce the rules of the group interview before the beginning, then the candidates will read the materials for 10 minutes, discuss the case and assign roles in 30 minutes, and make a summary in the last 5 minutes. I suggest that students still form their own groups and practice more. After 3 to 4 simulations, you will be familiar with the test format.

Strive to speak more than 3-4 times each time, and exercise the three roles of "icebreaking", "timing" and "summarizing" in several simulations. When speaking, it is important to remember that the point of view is not important, but it is necessary to reflect your language expression and logical ability. In each speech, you should say 1 2 3 points based on your own point of view.

3.Written Exam in Politics.

You don't have to worry about the political exam. Answer 3 short-answer questions and 1 essay question in 1 hour, and you can basically write it. Before the interview, just look at the important current affairs news in China in the past six months to find out how you feel. Fill up the paper during the exam, and it's basically OK.

General question 1: Why did you choose to take the EMBA?2. Why did you choose our school? 3. What are your plans for practice in the next 5 years?

4. What are your job contents and responsibilities? 5. What kind of problems do you encounter in your work and how do you overcome them? 6. Whether you have participated in the activities of public welfare organizations.

Unconventional questionsUnconventional questions are generally asked about the candidate's job, or more broadly, questions related to the candidate's industry. People from different backgrounds will be asked different questions. I won't introduce it here!

A few things to note::

1. Self-confidence. Because the EMBA mainly cultivates senior managers with an international perspective and the highest decision-making, applicants must show their talents and self-confidence when they are interviewed, which is the spirit that a decision-maker should have, self-confidence can not only improve the impression score of the in-service graduate students to the interviewer, but also give me an optimistic psychological hint. This will help students pass the EMBA interview.

2. Introduce your achievements.

If the applicant is sure that his interview is the final assessment result, then he must be detailed when introducing his work achievements, because although the EMBA assessment method is based on the written test and interview, it will also refer to the student's work achievements and life history, which is also a great aspect of the assessment results, so the student must carefully grasp the score of this part.

3. Optimistic attitude.

Having an optimistic mindset is to improve your performance in the EMBA interview. Only in an optimistic attitude can you not play abnormally, and you can even play beyond your own level.

1. The entrance examination is mainly in the form of written examination and interview at the same time. The relative proportion of the interview is relatively large, and the EMBA examination is mainly based on the interview, supplemented by the written test, which mainly examines the comprehensive quality and management potential of the candidates. Therefore, with the exchange of experience of working people in the workplace for many years, it is inevitable that the entrance examination will not be difficult.

Second, the examination focuses on assessing the candidates' experience in management, comprehensive ability to deal with things and whether they have the potential to be cultivated as excellent managers. As an elite talent in the workplace, the difficulty of the entrance exam is difficult for these incumbents.

3. The examination and interview assessment points mainly include language expression ability, comprehensive ability and thinking ability, team awareness and coordination ability, awareness of the industry in which they are located, and management experience. These aspects are where the strengths of the candidates lie. This is also the main reason why the EMBA exam is easy.

Fourth, the difficulty of the written test of the EMBA entrance examination of the National People's Congress is not high. The written exam lasts for three hours, and the EMBA exam subjects are mainly mathematics, English, logic and writing. This simple way of examining questions is not difficult for incumbents at all.

The EMBA of the National People's Congress implements the re-examination of the difference. Interest and planning (10-15%)

It mainly depends on whether the ambition is clear and realistic, whether there is a strong sense of responsibility, whether there is a clear understanding of one's strengths and weaknesses, and whether the specific actions can reflect the efforts to achieve the ambition, which is generally judged according to the candidate's answers to the relevant questions in a separate interview. MBA colleges tend to recruit candidates who have management potential, have a clear career plan, and the career plan is consistent with the MBA training positioning, training goals, and training value of the institution. Therefore, colleges and universities are very concerned about candidates' future career development plans, and such questions are often asked in the application essays.

Professional experience (30%)

It is mainly based on the nature of the work, the performance of the work, the position held, and the scale and level of the enterprise served, which is generally based on the candidate's personal written materials and verified by questioning. If an MBA candidate has a history of changing jobs frequently, then be sure to prove what they learned during the job change.

Team spirit and communication skills (15-20%)

It mainly examines whether candidates can understand others, whether they are good at discovering the strengths of others, and whether they are good at teamwork. These are all test points for team spirit, and the general test of team awareness is in the group interview, so MBA candidates should always pay attention to these questions and performance after entering the group interview.

Communication skills are present throughout the interview, and strong communication skills can impress the examiner.

Personal quality and cultivation (5%)

A person's sense of professionalism is easy to judge from the temperament shown, and business accomplishment is also very important. This part mainly looks at the candidate's appearance, manners, temperament and demeanor and mental state, here I am full of confidence in everyone, I believe everyone can get this part of the score!

Materials must be submitted during the re-examination (taking Chinese University as an example):

Candidates must bring the "Notice of Retest", "Admission Ticket", "Personal Resume", valid ID and the following materials to the retest:

Fresh graduates should sign a "letter of commitment" when they take the re-examination, promising that they have not received any punishment during their time in school, have passed the results of each subject, and can obtain their graduation certificates and degree certificates on time. If you fail to submit the original graduation certificate and degree certificate at the time of enrollment (if you are a fresh graduate receiving higher education abroad cannot submit the certificate of academic qualification certified by the Service Center for Scholarly Study of the Ministry of Education), you will be disqualified immediately.

7. Physical examination: During the re-examination, participate in the physical examination organized by our school, and the physical examination hospital is our school hospital, and the physical examination standards shall be implemented with reference to the "Guiding Opinions on Physical Examination for Enrollment in Ordinary Colleges and Universities" revised by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health and the China Disabled Persons' Federation.
