Critical Reasoning (CR, i.e., logic) in the Chinese part of the GMAT is the most interesting part of the GMAT test, but it also annoys many students. Let's talk about how to improve GMAT logic, don't miss it.
1.Scientific use of OG analysis.
Everyone knows that after doing the OG question, you have to read the analysis of the answer, but many students simply look at which option is wrong and see why the correct option is right, and the next time they do a similar question, they will still make mistakes.
Why is this happening? This is because you only understand the answer itself, and do not correct your own understanding of the question and the bias of the options, that is, not in your thinking.
2.Summarize the pattern of error options.
The official options are regular, so we need to summarize the rules of the wrong options for all the questions we have done, so that we can help ourselves draw inferences from each other, and the next time we see similar options, we can directly eliminate the wrong options.
For example, if you see that most of the comparison options are wrong, then you should first think about why some comparison methods are not very correct. Once you've figured out that if the option is comparing with something that isn't mentioned, and that doesn't make sense to the stem itself, then you can list the comparison as a high-risk option. The next time there is a comparison in the options, you don't have to think about whether the comparison is useful or not.
Of course, it is more time-consuming and laborious to summarize the rules by doing a lot of questions by yourself, but a good memory is not as good as a bad pen, as long as you stick to it, you can quickly achieve success.
3.Summarize your own mistakes and patterns.
In addition to the official summary of the rules of choosing hidden and choosing the questions, we also have to summarize some of the rules of making mistakes when doing the questions, so as to make targeted breakthroughs in the next round.
For example, many students think that evaluation questions are difficult to do, which means that you have a blind spot in knowledge and need to focus on breakthroughs, so you should focus on evaluation questions.
Candidates can see if there are some commonalities in the questions they have done wrong, for example, whether they will always tend to make up the options in the brain, whether they will always miss the conditions, etc. Clustering the same types of mistakes together is very helpful for understanding your blind spots.

GMAT logic questions require candidates to have the ability to quickly read and understand passages and questions, and also require candidates to reason and answer based on their own understanding. Let's talk about the GMAT logic high score method, don't miss it.
First, look for the facts that there is no doubt about.
For GMAT inference topics, the most critical step in solving the problem is to look for facts in the article. The fact is that the unquestionable information that can be obtained from the content of the article itself is buried in the future. There are no loopholes or problems with this information itself, which can be said to be the basis for the logical establishment of this article.
Here, I would like to remind candidates that they should never add some conclusions based on the content of the article. Even if the conclusion seems to be correct, if it is not mentioned in the article, then it is most likely wrong.
For example, let's say an article mentions that cats are the author's favorite pets. So the most favorite cat is the fact.
Based on this fact, you might think that the author has a cat or is very fond of playing with cats, or if you have to choose between cats and other pets, the author will definitely choose cats. But in fact, these conclusions are made up by each person himself based on facts, and they are not mentioned in the article.
2. Analyze the judgment of sentence components on the subject-verb relationship.
Whether it is grammar, reading or logic, the Chinese part of the GMAT will use many long and difficult sentences with complex structures and high grammatical levels in the questions. The sentence structure itself is meant to interfere with the reading and comprehension of the topic. There are also a large number of long and difficult sentences in the reasoning questions.
Therefore, when candidates are faced with reasoning questions, the most direct way is to find out the subject and verb of the sentence first, clarify the basic meaning of the article, and then combine these additional sentence components to understand it gradually. Otherwise, a sentence will have to be read several times to understand, and a lot of time will be wasted thinking and solving problems.
3. Scientific principles do not bring about an ever-round understanding.
The most difficult part of the GMAT essays is the ones that deal with science and technology, and those who do not have a professional background or lack of attention to these aspects are often confused by these incomprehensible contents, and will try to understand the meaning, but even more so the questions.
In fact, we need to be clear that what we are doing is logic, not science.
Therefore, as long as you can deduce the logical relationships from A to B and B to C, you can solve the problem, and as for those complex and obscure scientific principles and knowledge, you only need to do a short reading and don't waste time to understand.
Do logic chain training.
The first step is to find the premise and conclusion and find out their core content in the simplest language; >>>More

Common logical errors in GMAT essays mainly include no causal connection, insufficient sample, false analogy (horizontal), time-place congruence, failure to look at the problem from a developmental point of view, either/or, questionable investigations, and unfounded assumptions with conclusions. Each logic error has its own distinctive characteristics, and as long as you accurately grasp its characteristics, you can quickly and accurately lock it down during the exam. The GMAT consultation on the official website is more comprehensive, and it also talks about no causal connection, which means that the explanation given by the author and the conclusion reached are not causally connected, or the two are not related. >>>More
1.Make a study plan.
Before you start preparing for the exam, you should first formulate a reasonable and effective study plan for your preparation based on your actual situation (language foundation, daily study time, test time, application time) and other circumstances, stick to the implementation and adjust it according to the actual situation at any time. It is advisable to make a plan on a weekly basis so that adjustments can be made in a timely manner. Short-term goals are relatively easier to achieve, and there will be no frustration, so that you can better maintain your enthusiasm and interest in studying and preparing for the exam, and complete the final learning goals. >>>More
