The birth of Bon is full of mystery, and the time of its appearance can be deduced to the Stone Age, and even the ancient mythological period, after the civilization of the country of the gods and goddesses was introduced to Tibet.

Bon takes the dregs of the Divine Kingdom of Weimolongren as the ideal country and the center of the universe, and defines Mount Kailash as the sacred mountain, Lake Mapanyong as the sacred lake, and the golden-winged Dapeng bird as the totem, and the Divine Kingdom of Weimolonren is hidden on the top of Kailash and is not visible to the world.

After the birth of Bon in Tibet, guiding the production and life of the founders, as well as the practice, after a long period of development and dissemination, the culture and spirit of Bon spread throughout Central Asia, Northeast Asia, West Asia, and even the Americas, and finally at the end of the Iron Age, in Tibet, around the Kailash Sacred Mountain to create a country, known as the ancient kingdom of Zhangxiong, Bon as the state religion to guide the operation of the kingdom.

After the integration of church and state, Bon culture was integrated into all aspects of Tibet, including medical treatment, divination, sacrifices, funerals, etc., and Bon reached a prosperous period at this time.

In 1601 B.C., the Buddha Xinrao Miwo Rulai was born in the king of Wei Mo Longren, which is the famous ancient Buddha of the lamp in later generations.

After his birth, the Buddha Xinrao Miwo Rulai reformed the Bon religion, created the Yongzhong religion on the basis of the Bon religion, and created the Zhangxiong script, and taught the five Ming disciplines, and the Bon religion at this moment reached its peak.

The contribution of the Xinrao Miwo Rulai Buddha to the Yongzhong religion is like an epoch-making figure in the People's Republic of China.

After more than 2,000 years of multiplication, the ancient kingdom of Zhangxiong was destroyed by the Tubo kingdom of Songtsen Gampo, and the Yongzhong religion, which had been glorious for more than 18,000 years, also began to decline.

After the destruction of the ancient kingdom of Zhangzhung, Songtsen Gampo introduced Indian Buddhism in order to improve the imperial rule, because Indian Buddhism was influenced by the primitive Bon religion in the early days of the founding of the religion, some cultures have similarities, coupled with the cooperation with Tantra, and soon integrated into Tibet.

During the parallel period of the two religions, the Tibetan royal family was forced by the influence of Bon in Tibet and was unable to use swords against Yongzhong Buddhism, but instead accelerated the integration of Buddhism in Tibet and strengthened Buddhism.

In the later period, when Buddhism reached its peak in the Hongliang Yu Tibetan realm, the Tibetan royal family launched a dialectical dispute, and Buddhism won.

In order to preserve the fire, the Yongzhong religion was divided into two directions, one to integrate Buddhism and create the Guge Dynasty, and the other to hide and move to Ganzi, Bhutan, Burma, Afghanistan, India and other places to continue to practice.

Today, more than 1,000 years later, Yongzhong Bon coexists in harmony with Hinduism, Buddhism, Sutra, Tantric and other sects in Tibet, Qinghai, Sichuan and the surrounding Himalayas.
