    The steps are as follows:

    First restart the dell server, we will see the boot screen of dell's server, wait for a while;

    When we see the following screen appear, press the Ctrl+R key on the keyboard;

    After pressing, we enter the configuration interface of the RAID adapter card, because we did not configure the array card for the first time, the adapter card displays an empty interface;

    We move the cursor to the top, above the controller 0, and then press the F2 key on the keyboard to pop up the option to create an array disk, and we select creat new vd to press enter;

    We entered the interface that is a VD, here we see how many disks we have on the server now, and what arrays can be made, press the tab key we can select our RAID level, and then press TAB to switch to the disk interface, we select the disks we need (those need to form RAID), press the spacebar to select;

    After we have selected the array mode and disk, we will press the Tab key to switch to the OK option Enter to confirm the disk array, and then it will automatically return to the main interface;

    At this point we can see that there is the virtual disk 0 option, we have successfully created the array combination, and then we move the cursor to the virtual disk 0 option, and press f2 to bring up the menu;

    Select the first option initialize, then we choose the fast mode;

    At this time, a dialog box will pop up, and we select OK;

    Restart the server after successful initialization, and the RAID configuration is complete!

    If you need Dell server rental, it is recommended to go to Jing'an. Save money across middlemen and get on the shelves quickly.

    When the Dell server is turned on, there will be a shortcut key to prompt you to enter the configuration array, pay attention to the observation, if you don't know, you can play Dell after-sales technology**.

    The specific steps are as follows:

    1. When the server is powered on, you see the Ctrl+R prompt, press Ctrl+R to enter the array card configuration interface, as shown in the following figure.

    2. Then press CTRL+N to go to PD MGMT to view the hard disk information, as shown in the figure below, to confirm the hard disk status: ready.

    3. Finally, move the cursor to the hard disk to be configured, press the F2 button, and select Convert to Non-Raid. That's it.

    Set up raid1 method:

    Start according to the prompts, for example, press F2 to enter if there is an array card, there are three options, the third one is the array card configuration at the top, click enter to go in and follow the prompts! If it is a soft array, there is also a hint that CTRL+i is mostly it, go in and find the configuration array, and set it.

    RAID 1 implements data redundancy through disk data mirroring, which generates data backed up by each other on pairs of independent disks. RAID 1 can improve read performance when the original data is busy, reading data directly from the mirrored copy.

    RAID 1 has the highest unit cost of any disk array, but provides high data security and availability. When a disk fails, the system can automatically switch to the mirrored disk for reading and writing without reorganizing the failed data.

    How it works: RAID 1 is a RAID disk array composed of two hard disks, and its capacity is only equal to the capacity of one hard disk, because the other is just used as a "mirror" of data.

    The RAID 1 array is obviously the most reliable type of array, as it always maintains a complete backup of your data. Naturally, it doesn't perform as well as a RAID 0 array, but it does read data faster than a single hard drive, as data is read out of the faster of the two drives.

    How does a Dell server create a disk array through the BLOS interface? So how do you configure the disk array. The following is a collection of Dell server configuration disk arrays, I hope it will be helpful to you

    Tools Raw materials.

    Dell servers.

    Disk. Method steps.

    1. Start the server, see this page, press the "Ctrl+R" key to open the RAID configuration.

    In the RAID page, we will see the RAID array created by default.

    To select the default RAID array, press F2 and select "Delete VD" from the options that appear

    In the dialog box that appears, click yes if you want to delete the array.

    After deleting the default RAID array, press the F2 key and select Create New VD from the pop-up options

    Start configuring RAID array parameters.

    1. Select a RAID type.

    2. Select the disks that need to be added to this organization and add them by space.

    3. Here you can see the total amount of space that can be used on the disk after the array is configured.

    4. After confirming the information, click OK to finish.

    Here's an example diagram of a RAID I configured myself.

    To initialize the newly created array, press F2 for the virtual disk array, and select Initialization-Fast Init from the pop-up list

    To confirm whether to initialize this virtual disk, select OK.

    Confirm the message to tell you that virtual disk 0 has been initialized, and click OK to confirm.

    1. The server boots up and self-checks to the wave.

    After the logo screen, the next step will be to enter the RAID card self-test process, and a CTRL -H prompt will appear on the monitor.

    2. After pressing the CTRL -H key, the RAID card configuration interface will be entered after the self-test is completed, as shown in the figure below. Here you can see the RAID card model and firmware firmware version, click the [Start] button to enter the RAID card homepage.

    3. The home page of the RAID card is called WebBIOS, as shown below. On the left is the function menu, on the right you can see all the physical disks, in this example 4 500G hard disks are installed, and all the configurations can be completed here.

    4. Click [Configuration Wizard] on the WebBIOS homepage to open the configuration wizard.

    5. Select [Add Configuration] and click [Next] Next.

    6. You can see all unused hard disks in the box on the left. Let's select all of them (or one by one), and then click [Add to Array] below to add them to the box on the right.

    Do RAID:

    1. Confirm that there is no data on the hard disk.

    2. Check the model of the array card, R410 is equipped with H700 or PERC 6 array cards, and the interface is similar (the interface of other H710, H710P, H310 and other array cards is basically the same).

    3. There is the word CTRL+R when POST, which can enter the RAID BIOS

    4. Enter the VD MGMT interface, if there is an array before, you can clear the original information first, press F2 on the first line of PERC H700 or Controller, and select Clear Config

    5. Press CTRL+N to switch to PD MGMT to check the status of the disks and make sure that all disks are ready

    6. Press Ctrl+P to return to VD MGMT, press F2 in line 1, and select Create New VD

    7. Enter and select RAID 5, tab key switching, check 3 or more hard disks, if you want to do hot spare, you can leave a hard disk without selection, VD size is set according to the situation, the VD of the installed operating system is recommended to be less than 2TB, VD Name is optional, advanced options do not need to be replaced, click OK to complete.

    8. After completion, you can see that the array of virtual disk:0 has been ready, you can press F2 on the line to initialize the array, and generally initialize it quickly.

    9. Array initialization.

    11. Press CTRL+N to switch to CTRL MGMT, check the settings, generally select Enable Controller BIOS and Enable BIOS Stop On Error by default. If there are multiple VDs, make sure that the DV of the system is selected on the Select Bootable VD.

    12. RAID 5 is now created, press ESC to exit, and there is no need to save the settings.

    Windows 2003 can be installed using a boot disk, the boot disk will destroy all partition data, please be careful.

    Or press F10 on boot and select OS Deploy to install, this method will not delete all partition data.

    Or use a USB flash drive to emulate the software, press F6 to load the array card driver and install Windows 2003.

When we talk about web server security, the best advice I can give you is not to be a layman. When hackers start attacking your network, they will first check for general security vulnerabilities before considering more difficult ways to breach your security system. So, for example, when all the data on your server is in a FAT partition, even installing all the security software in the world won't help you much. >>>More
