Causing damage to the supercharger, many cases are not timely maintenance, which is mainly due to the long cycle of replacing the oil and the use of inferior oil, resulting in the lack of lubrication and heat dissipation of the floating turbine main shaft, and then the first damage is the oil seal, resulting in oil leakage.
Supercharger, a device whereby a piston aero engine increases the intake pressure of a cylinder. The air before entering the engine cylinder is compressed by the supercharger to increase the density of the air, so that more air can be filled into the cylinder, thereby increasing the engine power. In addition to the high take-off power output of the supercharger, the supercharger-equipped engine can also improve the altitude characteristics of the engine.
When the engine speed increases, the exhaust gas discharge speed and the turbine speed also increase synchronously, the impeller compresses more air into the cylinder, and the pressure and density of the air increase can burn more fuel, increase the amount of fuel and adjust the speed of the engine accordingly, can increase the output power of the engine.

Superchargers are divided into: exhaust gas turbochargers, mechanical turbochargers, composite turbochargers, and airwave turbochargers.
1.Exhaust gas turbocharger: The exhaust gas thrust discharged by the engine is used as the power source to drive the exhaust gas pump to drive the air pressure pump to work.
This supercharger technology is the most mature and the most widely used, and it is generally said that the engine mounted on the car marked T is the exhaust gas turbocharged engine. The biggest advantage of the exhaust gas turbocharger is that it can significantly increase the power of the engine without increasing the engine displacement. The most obvious of the disadvantages is the "hysteresis response", that is, due to the inertia of the impeller, the engine is slow to respond to sudden changes in the throttle, which causes the engine to delay the increase or decrease of power output.
2.Mechanical turbocharger: Installed on the engine and connected to the engine crankshaft by a belt, it gets power from the engine output shaft to drive the rotor of the supercharger to rotate, thereby pressurizing the air.
The advantage of a mechanical turbocharger is that the speed of the rotor corresponds to the engine speed, so there is no lag or advance, and the power output is smoother, but because it consumes part of the engine power, it will lead to low supercharging efficiency.
3.The composite turbocharging system uses both exhaust gas turbocharger and mechanical turbocharger to overcome the reaction lag problem of exhaust gas turbocharger. Its efficiency is better than the first two categories, but the disadvantage is that the structure is more complex, and the cost and maintenance costs are higher.
4.Air wave boosting system, this system has good boosting performance and good acceleration, but the whole device is relatively cumbersome, and is mostly used in larger diesel engines.

The supercharger does not use a turbocharger, so it is changed to a supercharger.
The turbo is used by the exhaust gas turbocharger.

The symptoms of a broken supercharger are as follows: the most obvious is engine weakness. There is no need to say much about this, because the supercharger is an important part used to improve engine power and reduce exhaust emissions, and if this part goes wrong, the engine will of course be weak.
There is a screeching sound when the engine is running. Fuel consumption is higher than in normal driving. Burn the engine oil, and the exhaust pipe emits blue smoke.
At this time, if you disassemble the supercharger, you will find that the shaft is full of coke, which is the residue of the dry burning of the engine oil. When you step on the throttle, it's not as powerful as before. The engine burns inadequately, and the peculiar smell is great.
The water temperature may not have much of an impact. The ascent is slower than before, and there are strange sounds. Rapid acceleration, 1750 rpm or more can be heard platoon screaming is normal.
One press the car's kilometer meter, and the second turbine will be damaged, and there will be an abnormal sound inside. If the turbocharged device of the car is good, the engine warning light will be on. Remove the exhaust pipe at the air end to see if there is a large blue smoke from the organic oil exhaust.
If the turbine is good, it will cause the engine to burn inadequately and the exhaust smell will be large. It will cause the engine to be weak, the exhaust pipe to emit black smoke, burn oil, and lack of oil. If the seal ring is damaged, then the exhaust gas will enter the engine lubrication system through the seal ring, which will dirt the oil and cause the crankcase pressure to rise rapidly, and the oil will also be discharged from the exhaust pipe or enter the combustion chamber when the engine is running at low speed, resulting in excessive consumption of oil and "burning oil".

It's all the same, it depends on maintenance.
You can't just get in the car and go.
After the engine is started, especially in winter, it should be allowed to idle for a period of time to allow the oil to fully lubricate the bearings before the supercharger rotor is running at high speed. Therefore, you must not slam the throttle after starting to prevent damage to the supercharger oil seal.
Do not turn off the fire immediately.
After a long period of high-speed operation, the engine cannot be turned off immediately. When the engine is working, a part of the oil is supplied to the turbocharger rotor bearing for lubrication and cooling. After the sudden shutdown of the running engine, the oil pressure drops rapidly to zero, the high temperature of the turbocharger turbine part is transmitted to the middle, and the heat in the bearing bearing housing can not be quickly taken away, and at the same time, the supercharger rotor is still rotating at high speed under the action of inertia, so if the engine is suddenly stopped in the hot engine state, it will cause the oil trapped in the turbocharger to overheat and damage the bearing and shaft.
In particular, it is necessary to prevent the sudden stalling of the engine after a few kicks of throttle.
Keep it clean. When disassembling the supercharger, it is necessary to keep it clean, and each pipe joint must be blocked with a clean cloth to prevent debris from falling into the supercharger and damaging the rotor. During maintenance, care should be taken not to damage the impeller by collision, and if the impeller needs to be replaced, it should be tested for dynamic balance. After the reassembly is complete, the blockage should be removed.
Since the supercharger is often operated at high temperatures.
Due to the high temperature of its lubricating oil pipeline, the internal oil is prone to partial coking, which will cause insufficient lubrication of the supercharger bearing and damage. Therefore, the lubricating oil line should be cleaned after a period of operation.
Always check the operation of the supercharger.
Before leaving the car and after collecting the car, the connection of each tube of the airway should be checked to prevent loosening and falling off and causing the failure of the supercharger and the short circuit of air into the cylinder.
It can be seen that after the engine is pressurized, the structure of the parts has been strengthened, and from the perspective of use and maintenance, it is necessary to strengthen the mandatory maintenance of the engine and pay attention to the correct control method.
Therefore, after the engine is under heavy load and runs for a long time, it should idle for 3 5min before turning off the engine, so that the speed of the supercharger rotor can be reduced and then turned off. In particular, it is necessary to prevent the sudden stalling of the engine after a few kicks of throttle.
This is where the flame-out delay device comes in.
This issue should be analyzed on a case-by-case basis.
