Zhou Dunyi, Wang Chuanshan, Wei Yuan s origin and main thoughts

Wang Chuanshan, that is, Wang Fuzhi. Wang Fuzhi (1619-1692) was a Chinese thinker and philosopher in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. The word and farmer, known as Jiang Zhai, alias Yiju Taoist, is an outstanding philosopher and thinker during the Ming and Qing dynasties, and Gu Yanwu and Huang Zongxi are known as the three major scholars of the Ming and Qing dynasties.

In his later years, he lived in Hengyang Ming Dynasty **Wei Yuan.

Wei Yuan (Ming) (1382-1444), whose name is Wenyuan, was a native of Baoqing (now Shaoyang), Hunan.

In the fourth year of Yongle (1406), he was a jinshi. Because he was too young, the emperor decreed that he should return to the scholar and study for the sake of the Hou. Later, in addition to Fujian, Guangxi, Guizhou supervised the imperial history.

The stone of Funayama, scholars call it "Mr. Funayama".

Zhou Dunyi, a native of Hunan Province in the Northern Song Dynasty, founded the foundation of science and greatly developed the theory of Confucius. His theories became the ideological origin of Huxiang culture. However, he had little influence during his lifetime and failed to form an independent school.

Hu Anguo, a Southern Song Dynasty writer, physicist, and scholar, and his son Hu Hong, came to Xiangtan, Tanzhou, during the Jianyan period of the Southern Song Dynasty, to establish Biquan Academy, and set up Wending Academy at the foot of Hengshan Mountain, attracting many Hunan talents to study, such as Hu Yin, Hu Xian, Tan Zhili and Liming. They founded the Huxiang School. Later, Zhu Xi and Zhang Yan presided over lectures at Changsha Yuelu Academy and Chengnan Academy, which made the Huxiang school more mature.

Hu Anguo completed his famous work "Spring and Autumn Biography" under the Ziyun Peak in Nanyue, which is a representative work of Song ** scholars who studied "Spring and Autumn" with the study of righteousness and reason. It attaches equal importance to Zhu Xi's "Notes on the Collection of Four Books", and has become a compulsory reading book officially prescribed by the imperial examination. His son Hu Hong also completed his masterpiece "Zhiyan" in Hengshan, which is known as "the pivotal point of Taoism and the yarrow turtle of governance".

The popularity is not under Zhang Zai's "Zhengmeng". Hu Anguo's "Biography of the Spring and Autumn Period" is dedicated to "Huayi's Discrimination", while Hu Hong's "Zhiyan" expounds the idea of "sexuality" as the ontology of the universe. During the Southern Song Dynasty and Chunxi period, it was the heyday of the Huxiang school.

Wang Fu wrote a lot in his life, among which "Reading through the Commentary" and "Song Treatise" are his representative works. He wrote two philosophical works, "The Biography of Zhou Yi" and "Lao Ziyan", and also wrote the political treatise "Yellow Book". The main philosophical works are:

From the Jinling book "Chuanshan Testament", "Chuanshan Gong Annals", "Chuanshan Academic Journal" inaugural issue, to Yuelu Publishing House's "Chuanshan Quanshu", there are more than 60 kinds of 330 volumes.
