The round specimen and the fabric of the same material are rubbed against the Lissajous graphic motion trajectory under a given pressure, and after the specified number of revolutions is reached, the pilling grade of the specimen is evaluated.
-
The operation process of Martindale abrasion tester is as follows:
1.A round specimen with a diameter of 38 mm is cut from the sample with a sampler;
2.Before the test, the specimen should be placed in a constant temperature and humidity environment;
3.A piece of 140mm standard felt and 140mm standard friction fabric are placed on each grinding table in turn;
4.Flatten the fabric and felt with a heavy object, tighten the ring clamp, remove the weight after that, and avoid the fabric curling when installing the sample. If the specimen weight is less than 500g, a new polyurethane foam is required, and the specimen weighs more than 500g, no padding foam is required;
5.Place the specimen clamp on the friction table and then add the required pressure, 9 pressure for the fabric and 12 pressure for the decorative fabric. Preset the appropriate number of times to start the machine;
6.After the instrument is stopped, observe the sample, estimate the number of further frictions, and when the end of the experiment is approaching, reduce the number of frictions, and carefully cut off the hairs produced on the sample with scissors.

Martindale abrasion testers test the abrasion resistance and pilling properties of a variety of plants. Under a certain pressure, the specimen and the specified abrasive are continuously commutated against the specified abrasive, and the degree of wear and pilling is evaluated compared with the standard parameters. Touchscreen control, equipped with a full-featured programmer, can be pre-programmed for batch and total counting, and the count of each test head can be set individually; You can choose from 4 speeds, including the standard speed.
Martindale Abrasion Tester Working Principle:
Under a certain pressure, the round fabric specimen rubs against each other with the standard abrasive according to the movement trajectory of the Lissajous curve, resulting in the damage of the specimen, and the abrasion resistance of the fabric is expressed by the number of wear resistance of the sample breakage.
Martindale abrasion testing machine meets the standards:
GB T Textiles Determination of Abrasion Resistance of Martindale Fabrics Part 1.
GB T Textiles Determination of Abrasion Resistance of Martindale Fabrics Part 2.
GB T Textiles Determination of Abrasion Resistance of Martindale Method Fabrics Part 3.
GB T Textiles Determination of Abrasion Resistance of Martindale Method Fabrics Part 4.
GB T Textiles Fabric pilling test Martindale method.
GB 8690-88 Test method for abrasion resistance of woolen fabrics Martin Daner method.
ISO 12945-2:2002 Textiles -- Determination of pilling properties on the surface of fabrics -- Part 2 Martindale method.
GB T 13775-92 Abrasion Resistance Test for Cotton, Linen and Silk Woven Fabrics Martindale Method.

Martindale friction testing machine is referred to as Martindale abrasion tester, Satra TM31 standard for Martindale abrasion tester to detect leather wet friction method, Martindale abrasion tester test method and standard:
Test the specimen. 1 Cutting devices, such as compressors, are large enough to produce a test specimen that can be firmly pressed against the specimen carrier, and the exact specimen size is determined by the fixtures of the specimen carrier. Just in case, the SATRA STM105 should have a round diameter of 44 - 1mm. From a variety of positions on the sheet to avoid any manufacturing edge 50mm.
2. Cut one more piece of test specimen, which is used to compare or refer to the fading or worn specimen.
3. Textile the test specimen in an environment of 20-2 and 65-2% humidity for 24 hours.
Step 1 Soak half of the wear-resistant sample and half of the wool felt sheet until the color of both sides of the sample is significantly darkened.
2 Place the specimen inside each grip ring with the test side facing outward.
3 If the mass of the test specimen reaches 500g m2, test method A or B can be used to place foam in each specimen clamp to fill the specimen test space.
4. Clamp the specimen to prevent the specimen from sagging, wrinkling and distorting.
5 Place a piece of dry wool felt on top of half of the worn sample.
6 Place a dry, wear-resistant specimen on the wool felt with the test side facing up.
7 Place the hammer on the specimen, smooth out the wrinkles, and remove the hammer.
8 On another specimen, repeat the step.
9 Repeat immediately to the procedure if needed, using a wetted wear-resistant specimen and a wetted wool felt.
10 Place the test specimen correctly in the test fixture to ensure that the test can operate properly.
11. Load the force on each test head to ensure that the test specimen and wear-resistant sample are loaded according to the required loading force value.
Martindale Abrasion Tester for Textile Testing:
1.Textiles & Leather Abrasion Resistance Test.
The round fabric specimen is subjected to a friction test against a standard friction cloth, and the wear resistance depends on the number of frictions or the weight consumption of the specimen when the specimen is disassembled, and the oscillating trajectory on the friction cloth of the test specimen is called the Lissajous pattern.
2.Pilling test of textiles and fabrics.
The pilling test method used on Martin-Dell testing machines was developed in conjunction with EMPA. The test is suitable for knitted and woven fabrics (made of staple fibre sand). The degree of hairballing was evaluated by using the criteria of verbal depiction in conjunction with the empa** criterion.
3.Operation and amplitude.
For some jobs, it is necessary to make a regular and interactive motion test based on the lissajous graph. When switching from an abrasion test to a pilling test, the length of the amplitude needs to be changed. Changing the mode of operation and amplitude is as simple as moving the position of the drive components without the need for additional tools and spare parts.
Martindale Abrasion Tester comes standard with consumables: wool felt (140mm, 90mm), wool cloth (140mm), foam pad (38mm).

Martindale abrasion resistance test refers to the test of textile products according to the Martindale method standard system and its relationship, and through this test to test the wear resistance characteristics of the fabric, and the wear resistance is an important indicator of the quality of textile products, which directly affects the durability and use effect of the product, and the wear resistance refers to the characteristics of resistance to wear and tear between fabrics or with other substances in the process of repeated friction. The machine used for the abrasion test of the fabric is the Martindale abrasion tester.

First of all, let's talk about semiconductor gas sensors, the so-called semiconductor gas sensors use metal oxide semiconductor materials at a specific temperature to make the electrical conductor change with the change of ambient gas composition. Because of its low cost, it is more suitable for the needs of gas detection. The disadvantage is that semiconductor gas sensors are susceptible to environmental influences and are relatively less stable. >>>More
