About the problem that the router is installed but cannot access the Internet

Take TP-Link as an example.

Connect the network cable to the WAN port of the router, connect the computer you could access the Internet to the LAN port of the router, and click on the computer that could access the Internet before: Start - Program - Accessories - Command Prompt.

In the command prompt window, type: ipconfig all

You'll see some displays.

Find the physical address under Local Connections and record the corresponding value at the end.

In the router settings page, select the MAC address of the router to the WAN by selecting the MAC address cloning of the network parameter in the menu.

If you look at the box of "MAC address of the current PC", it shows whether it is the MAC address that you copied down.

If so, click the "Clone MAC Address" button (click this button to clone the MAC address of the currently managing PC into the "MAC Address" column).

When you're done making changes, hit the save button and the router will automatically restart.

After the router reboot is complete, do you try it and see if it can get online?

Once you have access to the Internet, connect other computers to the LAN port of your router.

Connect the external line to the LAN port (not the WAN port), connect the computer to other LAN ports, and the IP is set automatically, try it.
