Important: Before you can customize attachment security behavior in Outlook 2000 SR1 and Microsoft Outlook 2000 SR1a, you must first apply Microsoft Office 2000 Service Pack 2 or Microsoft Office 2000 Service Pack 3.

1.If Outlook is running, quit the program.

2.Click Start, and then click Run.

3.In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.

4.For your version of Outlook, verify that the following appropriate registry keys exist. If so, go to step 5.

microsoft outlook 2000：

hkey_current_

microsoft outlook 2002：

hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\office\

microsoft office outlook 2003：

hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\office\

5.In the security category, create a string value level1remove, which is a key-value. exe (if there are multiple key-values; spaced).

5.Save the registry and reboot.

6.Enter OutlookXP and you will find that it turns out that it can't be opened.
