I love to draw. My extracurricular life is rich and varied. I like to play chess because it allows me to improve my thinking skills; I love playing because it makes my body healthier and stronger; I like to read some extracurricular books because it allows me to gain a lot of knowledge and broaden my horizons; I like to raise flowers because it allows me to refresh my spirits after an intense period of study; I also like to paint, because the great rivers and mountains of the motherland are infinitely beautiful, and through painting, I love my motherland even more.

In all these kinds of extracurricular life, I am most interested in drawing.

I've been drawing since I was three and a half years old. How did I become interested in drawing? Let me start at the beginning:

My mom and dad are both artists, and they both love what they do. One day, my mother was in the house drawing earnestly, and I sat on the bench and watched intently. After a while, my mother finished painting and wanted to rest, and as soon as she put down her pen, she saw me looking at her painting and asked me

Honghong, do you like to draw? I was fascinated, and after I understood my mother's question, I immediately said, "I like it, I like it!"

My mother saw that I loved to draw very much, so she specially prepared painting utensils for me, such as sketchbooks, drawing boards, drawing brushes, etc. That's when I started painting, and the seeds of a love for painting were sown in my young mind.

The sun and the moon flew by, and in the blink of an eye, I was in elementary school. At school, I took all the time to practice drawing. As soon as I started painting, my classmates said I was a little painter.

Every afternoon when I came home from school, after I finished my homework, I hurried to draw, and my mother often encouraged and helped me when she saw that I was so serious, and my drawing level continued to improve.

Until I was about to graduate from the fifth grade, I was getting more and more intense about studying, but I continued to draw. Every night after intense study, I have to pick up a paintbrush and draw beautiful pictures on paper. One night, I painted a painting titled Motherland.

There is an endless ocean, a red sun, flocks of chirping birds and buildings rising from the ground. I seem to be immersed in the scene, enjoying the beauty of nature, looking forward to a better tomorrow for the motherland, I hold this picture in my hand, I can't help but feel excited, and my thoughts are ......

Painting, although the level is not high, it has made me understand the beauty of life. I love life, I love my motherland, and I love the people who work this land. When I grow up, I must be like my mother and father, and use my brush to sing the praises of the greatest people, the lovely motherland.

Motherland, motherland, I have called you cordially countless times, and I must portray you more beautifully when I grow up.

I love to draw, I love life even more, and painting has become an indispensable part of my life. It is also because of it that my life is better and happier.

I love to paint, and when I pick up a paintbrush and paint beautiful paintings, it's a taste, not to mention how beautiful it is. The first time I drew was in kindergarten art class. The teacher asked us to draw a picture with the theme of "Spring", I picked up the pen and scribbled, I drew all the thoughts in my heart, I didn't worry about anything, and as a result, the painting was well received by the teacher.

That's how my interest in drawing was sparked. When I'm sad, I paint autumn and that bleak beauty. In my heart, I am much happier; When I am angry, I paint summer, let the hot temperatures bake the earth, and make people suffocated; When I am happy, I paint spring, painting scenes of "a hundred flowers blooming" and "the earth recovering"; When I'm in pain, I paint winter, a lifeless, snowy ......Slowly, I learned to use painting to express my feelings.

As I grew up, I became more able to draw more difficult paintings, such as paper prints, color prints, Chinese paintings, ......In the process of painting, I am constantly growing, learning to accept and challenge, and understanding the joy of hard work and reward. I'm the best at science fiction drawing, and it improves my imagination and creativity.

Now that I'm a 5th grader, I've won a lot of medals for my drawings, and what have I gotten more than just applause and joy? Is it growth? Is it a challenge?

Or is it an improvement in drawing? In fact, painting is not about the result, but about the process.

If I draw a good work, I'm as happy as if I've made a problem. Isn't it great that painting not only enriches knowledge but also enriches extracurricular life?

I experienced joy and perseverance in the process of painting. That's all there is to it, really. I love to draw.
