    It's useless to go abroad to study for graduate school and BEC! This is for foreign companies. BEC and IELTS are organized questions, so they are very similar, but they are not used for the same purpose!

    If you're going abroad, start preparing for both IELTS and GRE as early as possible, preferably both. The former I personally feel is a little simpler, but the latter is very important for applying for scholarships. So it's best to prepare both.

    What is there about the Netherlands that attracts you? If you don't have a Dutch complex, it's better to go to the United States. There are many schools in the United States that offer scholarships, and, after all, there is a strong one.

    BEC is valid for life, but I don't think you should spend your time on a certificate that you might need later if you plan to go abroad now. BEC: If it is really necessary, you can take the test again after returning to China, and then say that you have taken the national test IELTS, so there is no need.

    There is no disadvantage to taking IELTS! Accredited by American Universities! GRE is too pedantic, and I personally feel that IELTS can better reflect a person's level of language use. Both of them have a big advantage!

    I'm also a sophomore. I also want to go abroad. To be honest, I don't think it's useful to read BEC, but the certificate is still quite useful.

    If you want to train for the IELTS exam, you can do it. If you really want to learn something, you might as well study something professional. This is my personal opinion.

    Hope it helps.

    If you are also interested, pay attention.

    I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised! ~

    Finally, I wish you a smooth journey!

    Useful, BEC is universally accepted in the United States, and it seems that only TOEFL is accepted.

    There are no special qualifications required to take the BEC exam, and registration is not restricted by age, gender, occupation, region, education, etc., and is suitable for those who have elementary, intermediate and advanced English proficiency and are engaged in business work for the purpose of study. Anyone (including students, unemployed persons, etc.) can register at the local test center with their ID card. Foreign nationals and servicemen working in China can also register for the examination with their valid ID documents and two **, or they can register with their work permits and a letter of introduction from their employers.

    The test time is as follows: BEC Elementary Reading and Writing 90 minutes, Listening about 40 minutes (including time to fill in the answer sheet), and 12 minutes for the oral test; BEC Intermediate: 60 minutes of reading, 45 minutes of writing, 40 minutes of listening (including time for filling in answer sheets), 14 minutes of oral test; BEC Advanced 60 minutes of reading, 70 minutes of writing, 40 minutes of listening (including time to fill out the answer sheet), 16 minutes of oral test.

    The Business English test is conducted in two stages. The first stage is a written test, which includes reading, writing, and listening, and the second stage is an oral test. Over the years, a large number of business English talents have been trained through examinations.

    The BEC exam is designed for employees who need to use business English in office work. Companies use the BEC Junior Certificate as the basic business English language requirement for recruiters, which can accurately assess the candidate's real business English proficiency; BEC Intermediate is intended for intermediate English speakers and is intended for employees in intermediate management and is a tool to determine whether they have an intermediate level of business English.

    The BEC Advanced Certificate is designed for individuals with a high level of English proficiency and is a testament to the holder's ability to use business English in a wide range of specialist areas. The Business English Certificate (BEC) is valid for life.

    Prepare as follows: 1. Materials: Textbooks, textbook tutorials (including exercise answers), oral books and several comic question sets from previous years or simulations for candidates of all levels; These are basically must-haves; Of course, candidates can delete and supplement according to their actual situation;

    2. Partner: That is, parterner, the suitability of the usual oral practice and the suitability of the exam are required, of course, this is not necessary. If you can't speak well or can't find it, you will be given an arrangement during the test.
