How to set up xshell word wrapping

There is a set of processes for the whole process, and the specific methods are as follows:

1. Open XSHELL, File Properties vt mode, and check the first item "Auto Wrap Mode". Note that ticking the first item is the word wrap mode, which is the first step in setting up word wrap. As shown in the figure below:

2. Restart XCir, and then connect the device to automatically wrap. In this way, word wrapping is implemented. As shown in the figure below:

3. If you have saved sessions before, you need to modify the configuration for each session. 1) Auto Wrap Mode (DeCAWM): Enable the auto wrap function;

2) Origin Mode (decom): Activate Origin Mode. The cursor moves based on the location specified by the server;

3) Reverse Video Mode (decscnm): If reverse video mode is enabled, the foreground and background colors of the screen will be reversed.

4) New Line Mode (NLM): Enable New Line Mode, press Enter to display CR and LF. If this option is not selected, only CR will be displayed when you press enter;

5) Insert Mode (IRM): Enable Insert Mode, insert the characters sent by the server at the cursor position without deleting the existing strings;

6) Echo Mode (SRM): Displays the sent string on the screen and sends it to the server.

According to the above process, each link must be paid attention to avoid mistakes.

At this point, the issue has been resolved.

Taking xshell 6 as an example, perform the following steps to set up the word wrap feature.

1. Open the xshell software, select a session, right-click, and announce the "Properties Button" in the menu

2. Select the "VT mode" option in the properties

3. Select the "Auto Wrap Mode(Decawm)" button on the right

4. Click the "OK" button at the bottom right to implement the command line in xshell.

In this case, you need to expand the number of displayed rows as follows:

Step 1 Open the Xshell Terminal Emulator, select the session, and click the "File" - Properties command (as shown in the figure below) to open the "Session Properties" window.

Step 2 In the "Session Properties" window, select "Terminal", the red box in the following figure is "Buffer Size", modify the value in it, its range is between 0 2,147,483,647, and finally click "OK".

By following the steps above, you can set the maximum number of rows to be displayed in xshell, so you don't have to worry about the display being cut in half.

Taking xshell 6 as an example, perform the following steps to set up the word wrap feature.

1. Open the xshell software, select a session, right-click, and "Attribute Button" in the menu

2. Select the "VT mode" option in the properties

3. Select the "Auto Wrap Mode(Decawm)" button on the right

4. Click the "OK" button at the bottom right, and you can realize the command line in the xshell.
