Articles of Association of Alxa SEE Ecological Association

Founded on June 5, 2004, SEE Ecological Association (SEE) is an environmental or portable protection organization funded by nearly 100 well-known entrepreneurs in China. The association is a membership-based non-governmental organization (NGO), and it is also a non-profit environmental protection organization.

Good causes arise from good causes. In 2001, Mr. Song Jun, a Chinese entrepreneur, invested 50 million yuan to build the Moon Lake Ecotourism Scenic Spot in Alxa League, Inner Mongolia. After more than 3 years, this desert ecological scenic spot has attracted Liu Xiaoguang, general manager of Beijing Capital Group, Lin Rongqiang, chairman of Tsinghua Tongfang Environment, Ren Jingxi, chairman of Nanyang Education Group, Jiao Jialiang, chairman of Panlong Yunhai Pharmaceutical Group, Zhang Shuxin, chairman of United Express Investment Consultants, Liu Jing, president of China Minsheng Group, Shi Yuzhu, chairman of Giant Investment Company, Wang Yan, CEO and president of Sina, and other hundreds of Chinese entrepreneurs have visited one after another. Entrepreneurs deeply feel the serious desertification in northwest China, especially Alxa, as the source of sandstorms that threaten Beijing in recent years, approaching North China at a rate of 1,000 square kilometers of desert area (equivalent to the area of a medium-sized county) every year, and radiating to affect the southeast coastal areas, as well as parts of Japan and South Korea.

It is the severe challenge of sandstorms that has aroused the common sense of social responsibility of hundreds of Chinese entrepreneurs, and brought them together into one cause - to improve and restore the ecological environment of the Alxa region of Inner Mongolia, slow down or curb the occurrence of sandstorms, and promote Chinese entrepreneurs to assume more social responsibility.

On June 5, 2004, 100 Chinese entrepreneurs lined up in the vast Tengger Desert to form a historic scenery - China's first NGO (non-** organization) public welfare organization with social responsibility as its own responsibility, entrepreneurs as the main body, and protection of the earth's ecology as its practical goal - Alxa SEE Ecological Association was officially born. As the initiators, the 80 entrepreneurs pledged to invest 100,000 yuan every year for ten consecutive years, starting from slowing down the sandstorms in Alxa, and committed to protecting China's ecological environment, promoting harmony between man and nature, promoting harmony between man and society, and promoting harmony between people.

The purpose of SEE is to follow the unified values of ecological, economic and social benefits, promote the sustainable development of man and nature, take the Alxa area as a starting point, solve the problem of desertification through the comprehensive development of the community, and at the same time promote Chinese entrepreneurs to assume more environmental responsibilities and social responsibilities, and promote the environmental protection and sustainable development of enterprises.

By adjusting the interests within the community and between the community and the outside world, the environmental problems of the community can be solved with endogenous power to achieve the goal of sustainable development of the community.

Integrate environmental education, environmental technology, environmental research and other factors into community development projects to promote the comprehensive development of the community;

Through community pilot projects, it provides effective ways to learn from environmental governance, and at the same time promotes the improvement of environmental protection policies;

Through the funding of "SEE Eco**", we support different types of environmental organizations to implement environmental projects;

The biennial "SEE Ecology Award" rewards environmental protection projects and promotes the development of China's non-governmental environmental protection undertakings;

Organize environmental protection related lectures, forums, visits and other entrepreneur exchange activities, and provide a platform for entrepreneurs to participate in environmental protection undertakings;

Assist enterprises to establish an environmental protection system to achieve environmentally friendly and sustainable development in terms of technology, products, brands and culture;

Through cooperation with international organizations, we will introduce international environmental protection funds, technologies and projects, and carry out localized operations to the greatest extent, so that they can produce good practical results in China.
