Professor Chen Zhi's students have won awards in major international guitar competitions: including Wang Yameng (Tokyo, Japan, 1993; Alexandria, Italy, 1995; Madrid, Spain, 1996), Yang Xuefei (Darwin, Australia, 1997), Su Meng (Vienna, Austria, 2002; London, UK, 2004; Tokyo, Japan, 2005; 2006 Parken, USA; 2006 Iselon, Germany), Chen Chuan (2002 in Hong Kong). Their performances at ** conferences around the world have been highly acclaimed.

Professor Chen Zhi has been invited to visit and give lectures in France, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Austria, the United States, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Australia, Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and other countries and regions, and often serves as a judge for international guitar competitions.

Japan's "Modern Guitar", "Guitar**", "Harmony", "Mainichi Shimbun"; Newspapers and magazines such as "Classical Guitar" in the UK, "Guitar" in France, and "Guitar and Lute" in Germany, as well as the BBC in the United Kingdom and NBC Television and Radio in the United States, have all featured Professor Chen's artistic activities. In 1995, the long-established and authoritative British magazine "Classical Guitar" recommended Professor Chen Zhi as the annual world guitar figure. In addition, he is the editor-in-chief of Guitar Art magazine.

In 2001, he presided over the recording of two teaching VCDs, "Classical Guitar World Famous Music Guide" and "Classical Guitar Basic Course", which sold well all over the country.

Chen Zhijie, the lead singer of the Taiwanese orchestra Dong Cheng Wei, a native of Taipei City, has also participated in theatrical performances as the lead singer of the Taiwanese orchestra Dong Cheng Wei. After graduating from school and leaving the army, he joined his younger brother Chen Dexiu (Dongchengwei. When he was a student, he formed the Fire Emblem Orchestra (Karma Orchestra), which was later renamed Dongchengwei, and served as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist.

Dong Chengwei released his first mini ** of the same name in July 2010, playing the ring in "Ultimate Class 2". In 2014, Dongchengwei was disbanded, and in September of the same year, Chen Dexiu and Chen Zhijie reorganized the orchestra - Red Generation. The members include the lead singer - Jie (Chen Zhijie), the leader and guitarist - Xuan (Chen Dexiu), the guitarist - Xin (Li Xinfeng), the bass player - Shang (Li Jiaqin), and the drummer - Xiaoyu (Lin Yuting).
