Chapter IV Annual Registration.

Article 19 Annual registration refers to the annual verification of surveying and mapping units by the examination and approval authorities for surveying and mapping qualifications to confirm whether they continue to meet the basic requirements for surveying and mapping qualifications.

The annual registration time for surveying and mapping qualifications is from March 1 to 31 of each year. Surveying and mapping units shall, in accordance with the requirements of these provisions, submit the relevant materials for annual registration to the provincial administrative departments of surveying and mapping or the administrative departments of surveying and mapping at the municipal (prefecture) level entrusted by them to be divided into districts from January 20 to February 28 of each year.

Units that have obtained surveying and mapping qualifications for less than six months may not participate in the annual registration.

Article 20 Annual registration procedures for surveying and mapping qualifications:

1) The surveying and mapping unit shall fill in the annual registration report of surveying and mapping qualification in accordance with the provisions and submit it to the corresponding administrative department of surveying and mapping within the prescribed time limit;

Article 21 The main contents of the annual registration and verification of surveying and mapping qualifications:

1) Changes in the nature, name, domicile, legal representative and professional and technical personnel of the unit;

2) Changes in the total number of employees, registered capital and investors of surveying and mapping units, and the total value of surveying and mapping services in the previous year;

3) Verification and change of surveying and mapping instruments and equipment;

4) The main surveying and mapping projects completed, the quality of surveying and mapping results, and the filing of surveying and mapping projects and the collection of surveying and mapping results;

5) Confidential management of surveying and mapping production and results;

6) The unit's credit situation;

7) Circumstances of illegal surveying and mapping acts being punished in accordance with law;

8) Other circumstances that need to be verified by the administrative departments in charge of surveying and mapping.

Article 22 Any of the following acts shall be deferred for registration:

1) Failure to submit annual registration materials on time or annual registration materials that do not meet the prescribed requirements;

2) The items recorded in the "Surveying and Mapping Qualification Certificate" should be changed but no application for change is made;

3) Surveying and mapping instruments are not verified on time;

4) Failure to file and register surveying and mapping projects in accordance with regulations;

5) After supervision and inspection, it is found that the quality batch of surveying and mapping results is unqualified;

6) Failure to submit surveying and mapping results in accordance with regulations;

7) The surveying and mapping unit fails to participate in the annual registration without a legitimate reason;

8) The unit's bad credit is verified to be true.

Article 23 The period of deferment of registration shall be 60 days. The administrative department in charge of surveying and mapping shall inform the surveying and mapping unit in writing to make corrections within a time limit, and if the rectification is complied with, it shall be registered.
