As the most legendary coach in English football, Robson led the LinkedIn Gran national team to the 1986 and 1990 World Cups, although they were defeated by the eventual champions Argentina and West Germany, but Italy's World Cup semi-final results have been the best record of the England national team in the World Cup in the last 40 years.
In addition to contributing a lot to the national team, Robson personally brought Ronaldo, a talented player, to the pinnacle of world football during his tenure at PSV Eindhoven and Barcelona; During his time at Barcelona, Robson also trained a future champion coach, Jose Mourinho, who was Robson's translator and assistant at the time. It is the success of these people that shows Robson's unique vision even more.
There is no doubt that Bobby Robson has been the best coach in England in the past few decades, and in 2002, Robson was knighted by Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace, becoming the eighth person in English football to receive this royal honor.
Even the always arrogant Ferguson had great respect for the old man, and he insisted on not accepting an interview with him because of his conflict with the BBC, but when the BBC invited Ferguson to present Robson with a lifetime achievement award in December 2007, Ferguson happily went to ......Robson's life was full of glory and glory, but few people know that he has been battling cancer for the past 18 years.
