A partition of the computer cannot be read, and the partition of a hard disk on the computer cannot

The computer hard disk partition cannot be displayed because some disks are artificially set to hide, and the method of displaying these hard disks is as follows:

1. When the mobile hard disk is inserted when the computer fails, you will find that only part of the drive letters are displayed, because the mobile hard disk is divided into four partitions, and only two drive letters are displayed here.

2. Right-click "Computer" and select "Manage" from the pop-up menu.

3. Then right-click on the disk that cannot be displayed normally, and select "Change Drive Letter and Path" from the pop-up menu.

4. Click the "Add" button in the window that opens, then specify a "Drive Letter" for the current partition, and click the "OK" button.

5. Then you will find that the corresponding partition can be displayed normally.

6. Then you will find that the corresponding partition can be displayed normally.

7. Of course, the above methods have certain limitations, that is, the failure will appear again after the computer restarts, in this regard, a one-and-done method is mainly achieved by modifying the registry. First of all, use the above method to make all drive letters displayed. Then open the "Run" dialog box and enter the command "regedit" to open the registry program.

8. Finally, restart the computer to solve the problem. When you insert the portable hard drive again, you will find that all drive letters can be displayed normally.

If a partition of the mechanical hard disk cannot be read, then there must be a bad pin or damage in the internal mess department, at this time, you must be careful, you must copy the content out in time, so as not to damage the hard disk and cause greater losses. Fight bump.

Use DiskGenius to see if the partition is hidden or the drive letter is gone, just use DiskGenius to assign a drive letter or unhide the state;

The partition is visible in the system's built-in disk management. If so, just set a drive letter for it.

1. On the desktop computer, right-click to set up management, disk management, and see if there are more disk letters than the direct computer;

2》The administrator runs cmd, enter diskpart, sel dis 0, lis volume, and take a look at a total of several drive letters;

There are 2 scenarios at this time:

1.There are multiple drive letters, a little more than just opening my computer, probably hidden, type: lis par (remember what number of the analyzed ones are hidden!)

sel par (hidden partition number).

Attributes Clear Hiden (unhide) ASS (Activate and reassign labels).

2.Not hidden, but not activated;

Use the above method to select the drive letter directly.

Just enter ass;

Take win7 as an example: right-click "Computer" - "Management" - "Disk Management".

Check whether there is any unallocated space in the disk area, if you have partitioned it through the partition tool, then there is an unknown state of expansion partition in the disk expansion partition, then as long as the extended partition is formatted one by one, it can be used normally (remember to format it in NTFS file system format). Sometimes, if you format the extended partition to FAT format when partitioning, you will not be able to see the partition drive letter, which is the same as reformatting the extended partition (into the partition such as d e f) to the ntfs file system format.

But if you don't have unallocated disk space in your disk area, then your disk won't actually have a partition at all.

After partitioning, you need to format and assign a drive letter to unhide before it can be displayed.

Right-click on My Computer on the desktop, select Management, find Disk Management, and format the partitioned disk partition.
