。。20G C disk is still small Installed win series of operating systems up to less than 3G,It should be that you have too many things.,C disk generally only puts the system and the files that must be associated.,Other applications are put on other disks.。。 It is recommended to reinstall the system, which is faster than manual deletion, and the only way to delete it is to find it one by one, and then move or remove other applications

Is your system XP !!If yes.
1 Disable System Restore for non-system partitions.
By default, Windows XP's System Restore feature is enabled, and individual disk partitions are monitored by System Restore. In this case, you will find a hidden folder named "System Volume Information" at the root of each disk partition, which is dedicated to storing system restore information and system restore points. Since this folder will take up about 200MB of 2GB disk space, it is necessary to disable the system restore feature for non-system partitions and get back the lost disk space by deleting the folder.
Step 1: Log in to the system as an administrator account, then open the Control Panel System, go to the System Restore tab. Click on any non-system disk partition in the "Available Drives", then click the "Settings" button, and check the "Turn off 'System Restore' on this drive" item, and then "OK" to turn off the "System Restore" function of the partition.
Step 2: Disable System Restore for other non-system partitions and leave only the partition in the Monitoring state. Now, go to the root directory of each non-system partition and delete the "System Volume Information" folder directly to get back most of the disk space.
2 Delete redundant restore points.
In general, everyone will retain the system restore function of the partition where the system is located, so you have to face the problem of the continuous expansion of the partition where the system is located. In this case, we can solve the problem by deleting the redundant expired restore points and keeping only the latest restore points.
Run the "cleanmgr" command in the "Run" bar, then select the partition where the system is located in the pop-up "Select Drive" window, and click "OK". Click on the "Other Options" tab in the "Disk Cleanup" window that appears, and then click on the "Clean" button under the "System Restore" bar. After confirming the operation, you will find that the disk space of the system partition is quite a bit more.
In the "Disk Cleanup" tab, in the "Files to be deleted" list, you can select all the items, so that the temporary files generated during the installation of the program, IE disk buffer and **site, etc.,Some disk space occupied**, by the way, clean them up.
3 Disable the hibernation function.
If the hibernation function is enabled, the system will create a hidden file called the root directory of the C drive, which will save the information in the memory when the system is hibernating, so that it can be restored to the state before hibernation after waking up the system. However, the file will take up the same amount of disk space as the current memory, if you don't feel the need to use the hibernation function, then just go to the "Control Panel Power Options", then click on the "Hibernation" tab in the properties window that opens, and then disable the "Enable Hibernation" item, and the file will be automatically deleted.

You don't even understand the concept of memory vs. disk space.
The 20G you are referring to is the remaining disk space, which is the remaining capacity of the D drive.
It is the suffix of the fragmented files retrieved after the disk check, and the chk is the suffix of the fragmented files retrieved after the disk check, delete it, it's useless, you'd better do a thorough disk check.

However, if you have a virus in your computer, you can kill the virus or reinstall the system.
-
Find a data recovery tool to recover the data and then the disk fragmentation repair.
-
Turn off System Restore for Drive D.
-
Open this system to change it, or how can it be so big, the virus will not always be there, shut down the system and restore it.
Method: My Computer Properties; System Restore; Close all or targeted.
In fact, it is not good to close all (personal opinion), it is best not to close the C disk (system), D, E, F、、、 and other disks are closed (because these are files, generally do not need to be backed up, you can use other tools to back up as needed), so that you can prevent the system from having problems or installing software that should not be installed to cause the system to be abnormal, mistakenly delete the system files, and other problems after the system restore function can be restored to the previous normal state.
Benefits:In this way, the files backed up by the system restore will be greatly reduced,Back up the C disk,Each time is about 30M to 40M,All the disks can reach 100M-150M each time,Usually clean up the backup file manually every once in a while,Click right-click on the C disk Attributes-Disk Cleanup-Other Functions-System Restore-Clean-OK OK。
The disadvantage of a full shutdown: Once the system has a big problem, you can't use it to restore the system. I have a friend who has a big problem with the computer, and I want to restore the system to him, but as soon as I open it, I know that he has turned off the system restore, and I have no choice but to reinstall it.
