The department where I interned was the Electric Power Engineering Department, which undertook the construction and transformation of the XX power grid, mainly undertaking the construction of 220kV and below voltage level substations and supporting transmission and distribution overhead lines, power cables, optical fiber cables and other engineering installation, erection construction and tower processing and manufacturing tasks. The engineering department works hard, has strong technical requirements, and is the department with the widest coverage of the power supply company in the power industry, so it is also the cradle of technical talents in the power system. In just four weeks, under the education and training of the leaders of the engineering department, and with the care and help of colleagues, I have made certain achievements in my work and study, and my overall quality has also been improved.

I was assigned to the second shift of the substation engineering department for internship. As a new employee who has just joined the work, I am full of curiosity and enthusiasm in the face of the new job and new environment, and at the same time, I am also a little nervous and uneasy - after all, I am a novice and know almost nothing about the professional knowledge of substation operation. However, under the careful guidance of the class leader and the teachers in the class, I still benefited a lot.

Through the observation and study at the construction site of the airport substation and the substation, I have a certain understanding of the basic process of the secondary substation team from cable pay-off, wiring, wire alignment to line commissioning and testing, and know the basic structure of the substation, the basic process of substation construction and the main uses of various equipment. Although we didn't try to do the work of connecting cables in the terminal box and control room, I still did my best to do the work of tying wires and knife switch opening and closing tests, and increased my practical work experience. In the few days that I was transferred to the general manager's work department to help, I also conscientiously did every task assigned to me by the leader, which was well received by everyone.

During the internship, I was always strict with myself, consciously abided by the rules and regulations of the engineering department, endured hardships and stood hard work, worked hard, and actively assisted other colleagues to carry out their work while completing the work assigned by the leader, and improved my ability in all aspects in the process of work.
