Qiujin Newspaper focuses on the publication of various publications, and uses forums and salons as platforms to carry out a variety of activities. At the beginning of its establishment, "Seeking Progress" was an exchange publication of the student party constitution study group. After 20 years of development, a multi-level student newspaper and periodical system has been formed, which publishes the main issue of "Seeking Progress", the special issue of the Party School, the bimonthly newspaper of Seeking Progress, the Military Training Express, and the Bulletin of Seeking Progress.

Over the past 20 years, it has published more than 50 issues of "Seeking Progress", more than 30 issues of military training bulletins, and other publications. It has held dozens of "Seeking Progress Forum", hundreds of "Seeking Progress Salons", more than 20 "Seminars and Tea Parties" of the "Party Constitution of Various Faculties", more than a dozen "Party Knowledge" study competitions, debate competitions, several "Party National Congress Spirit" forums and other activities. Recently, in addition to its usual work, Qiujin Newspaper has also held two forums on "Maintaining the Standards of the Advanced Nature of Communist Party Members"; It organized more than 30 students from Sun Yat-sen University to participate in the "Spring Rain" action at the Shenzhen aid station; Combined with the 80th anniversary celebration and the cooperation with the Sun Yat-sen University Alumni Association, the newspaper reporter divided into four ways on the "movement and" incident, visited the school and friends who lived in Beijing, Nanning, Guangzhou, and Hunan and played an important role in the student revolutionary movement during the Liberation War, collected a number of precious historical materials, collected and sorted out the historical archives, and on this basis, carefully produced and published a commemorative special issue of "Welcoming the Light and Moving to Freedom - Commemorating the Student Revolutionary Movement of Sun Yat-sen University during the Liberation War"; Held a series of activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Society, and published "Ideals and Beliefs - Anthology to Commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Seeking Progress".

In cooperation with the armed forces department of the university, four issues of "Military Training Express" were published, covering the South Campus, North Campus, Zhuhai Campus and the newly established East Campus of Sun Yat-sen University.

In November, the Social Committee of Qiujin Newspaper was re-elected.

Representatives of the four campuses gathered at the headquarters of the South Campus, and the guests at the meeting were: Guo Yan, a teacher from the Organization Department of the Party Committee, and Zheng Junhao, a veteran of the school, who elected the 22nd Social Committee, and determined the position and division of labor of the new Social Committee based on everyone's opinions.

In December, the "Civil Servant Forum" was successfully held, inviting Lao Qiujin Kuang Weifei, Gan Tianwen, Mei Fangquan, Wang Ting and other senior brothers as guests, and the forum was held on the second floor of Xiong Delong, and the audience was full and the atmosphere was intense.
