The "Catalogue of Classified Management of Environmental Impact Assessment of Construction Projects" is to strengthen the environmental protection management of construction projects and improve the efficiency of examination and approval, in accordance with the provisions of Article 7 of the Regulations on the Administration of Environmental Protection of Construction Projects. The "Catalogue of Classified Management of Environmental Impact Assessment of Construction Projects" was deliberated and approved by the ministerial meeting of the Ministry of Environmental Protection on December 27, 2016, and came into force on September 1, 2017.
Article 1 In order to implement the classified management of environmental impact assessment of construction projects, this directory is formulated in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Environmental Impact Assessment.
Article 2 According to the characteristics of the construction project and the environmental sensitivity of the region, the environmental impact assessment of the construction project shall be managed by classification, taking into account the possible impact of the construction project on the environment.
In accordance with the provisions of this directory, the construction of a single attendant shall organize the preparation of the environmental impact report of the construction project, the environmental impact report form or the environmental impact registration form.
