AIX how to view core files

The core file under AIX is the runtime log file that is generated after an application error.

The core file records the status of the application when it is running and the information about the error, and by viewing the core file, you can find the cause of the program error, and by analyzing the core file, you can analyze the solution.

Some applications provide tools to view core files, while others do not.

When you can't find the core provided by the application, because most of the content of the core is text, you can use a text viewing tool such as vi more, etc.

View the core file generated by the application in the AIX system.

The software installed under the win is either 32-bit or 64-bit. Cannot be viewed under DOS.

The only thing that works is that you can open the directory with dos. For example, under the D disk, there is Office, AutoCAD. Then use the commands: cd d: dir w to see the installation directories of these two software.

Are you using it? The default is changed to lldb. It looks like this will happen after reinstalling GDB, so I recommend you use lldb.

It is possible to make full use of physical hardware resources during the day and night, and since several clients do not put a lot of pressure on physical resources at the same time, their respective quality of service (QoS) is guaranteed.
