In terms of the number of questions in the SAT reading section, there are generally three sections and 67 questions. In terms of exam time, two sections are 25 minutes each, and one section is 20 minutes, for a total of 70 minutes. In terms of question types, there are two types.
Sentence-based fill-in-the-blank questions (5 8 sections) and article-based reading questions. The average reading speed required is 200 word minutes, and each question takes about 45 seconds to answer (including the time spent reading the passage).
Any reading comes in this order: vocabulary sentence paragraph article topic comprehensive exercise summary review method. Therefore, follow this order in the preparation process as well. However, the focus is on article comprehension and how to do the questions.
First, the principle of fairness.
The SAT test is not only for domestic test takers, but also for test takers from all over the world. Therefore, in order to ensure that there are no differences in the regional characteristics of the test papers, the content of the reading passages mainly involves the content of North America, that is, the history, geography, culture, etc. of North America (and some European history).
Secondly, no matter what field candidates want to get involved in in the future, whether it is geography, physics, chemistry, mathematics, economics, literature, history, education, etc., they must take the SAT test, therefore, in order to ensure that all candidates have a common knowledge platform, the SAT reading test answers do not require any professional background knowledge, and all answers can be found from the article.
In other words, if you need to memorize the periodic table to answer the questions, then the SAT test is unfair to non-chemistry majors.
Second, the principle of impartiality.
The SAT test is a selection tool under the education system. Therefore, it actively promotes positive things, specifically, it protects vulnerable groups (women, minorities, etc.). Any article that involves this, the author will have a healthy and positive attitude towards it.
The SAT is also an academic test. In order to satisfy its academic characteristics, the author of the article does not adopt an aggressive attitude, ambiguous attitude, etc., in the writing process.
Third, the principle of rigor.
SAT essay answers come entirely from the essay itself and do not require any professional background knowledge, but require a certain amount of common sense in life. At the same time, the emphasis is on strict linear logical thinking and reasoning ability, rather than fuzzy thinking and divergent thinking.
Active passive pronouns are to be translated into tenses.
Small words should not be ignored (adjectives and adverbs).
Additions and subtractions.
Fourth, the principle of repetition.
The main reason is the repetition of the material, vocabulary and question type of the article.
The above is the introduction of the necessary strategies before the SAT reading part, including the analysis of SAT reading question types and reading methods, which is very detailed and thorough. In the process of SAT reading sprint, students should strengthen their reading practice and strive to achieve a high score in SAT reading.
If you still have any questions, you can go to the pony and cross the river and ask the professional English teacher there, thank you!

It's nice to be able to read 80% of the content, but reading isn't as good as you want to know your own language. Most of the exams are about the screening, processing, summarization and utilization of information. Don't bother to train your own fast reading ability, the important thing is to grasp the central idea of each large paragraph, combined with the positioning information provided by the question, to be able to get a more accurate answer.

Topic Question Type:
This type of question is related to the whole of the article, and the stem may ask about the main idea of the article or the basic purpose of the article. In the answers to this type of question, the correct answer is the option that clearly summarizes the main content of the passage, while the wrong distracting option often takes the following forms:
It has nothing to do with the main idea of the article.
Clearly contrary to what the article says.
Replace the topic of the article with the details of the article.
It's beyond the scope of the article, it's too broad.
Too extreme and beyond the narrative of the article.
Detailed question type: This type of question often asks about the specific content of a certain part of the text, and when doing this kind of question, the candidate generally has to go back to the original description of the question to find the source of the correct answer. The distraction options for the detail question type generally come in the following forms:
Confuse the public with narratives from elsewhere in the article.
Words that are close to the original text are used, but the meaning of the original text is distorted.
contradicts the narrative of the original text.
What is said is not stated in the original text, and it cannot be logically deduced from the original text.
Extreme narratives are used.
Inference question type: This type of question can examine both the content of the topic level of the article and the content of the article at the level of detail. It mainly requires candidates to deduce from the information provided in the passage that is not explicitly stated in the passage, but is logically correct.
Vocabulary question type: Vocabulary questions in reading mainly examine the specific meaning of a word in the context of the text. What the candidate needs to do is to deduce the specific meaning of the words under examination from the context. It should be noted that even if the test taker knows the word, the correct answer in the reading passage is often not a certain meaning of the word that everyone is familiar with, but a more strange and obscure meaning.
This situation is generally referred to as "familiar words".

Details:Includes the TOEFL factual information questions and detailed reasoning questions. Their correct answers are more rewritten than the TOEFL and are difficult to distinguish in the new SAT reading, all through the original text.
One or two sentences of detailed information to solve the problem. This type of question mainly tests students' ability to retrieve, comprehend and reason about information, that is, the ability to understand the original text through logical reasoning between sentences or within sentences.
Vocabulary Questions:It mainly examines students' cognitive ability of English words. Words may have several meanings, and the test is to see if students can identify the exact meaning of the word in the original text, and whether they can identify the exact meaning of the word in the context.
Purpose Question:It tests the ability to recognize and understand the argumentative point of view in the original text, and some questions also test the student's ability to deduce the author's point of view from examples.
Keynote Topic:The main topic examines the author's main point, while the objective question examines the author's secondary point of view on a detail.
Evidence-based questions:This type of question is a new type of question that has just been designed by the new SAT, and it is similar to the enhanced questions in the previous logic questions. It mainly tests students' ability to find arguments to support their opinions.
This type of question is the opposite of the objective question, which is to find an opinion, while the evidence question is to find an argument. In fact, it is still the relationship between opinions and arguments. This is a new question type, so please pay more attention!
Chart Questions:This is a bit of a science class and tests students' ability to search for information from graphs and graphs and use that information. It is also a new question type, but the chart question is relatively simple and belongs to the scoring question.
Double Questions:Including interconnection questions, similarities and differences. At the heart of these questions is the ability of students to grasp the author's point of view and use the relationship between those ideas to solve the problem.
A small number of times the details will be examined, and this time the ability to collect information will be examined, which is more difficult. In the new SAT, the examination of the double questions is not much different from the old SAT, but it feels simpler.
