Keep clicking the delete key when you turn it on.。。。

First of all, what is DOS?

DOS is actually short for DiskOperationSystem. As the name suggests, this is a disk management-based operating system. The biggest difference from the operating system we use now is that it is in the form of a command line, which relies on input commands to carry out human-computer dialogue, and passes instructions to the computer in the form of commands, so that the computer can realize the operation.

So the operation is also very simple, just enter the command, then press enter, and the system will execute the command.

Essentially, the Windows 95 and Win9X series of versions are all built on top of DOS for what appears to be a fully graphical operating system. It's just a piece of clothing.

On the other hand, we can find a shadow of DOS in any version of the Widows series. Type in the Run program in the Start menu of Win9X ME"command"command, which can enter the command line interface. Type in the Run program in the Start menu of Win2000 NT"cmd"command, which can enter the command line interface.

And with Windows 2000 and XP, both the console can be accessed by using a boot disc. The console is also in the form of a command line, and the system maintenance commands in it are also largely consistent with the dos commands. In many cases, problems that cannot be properly solved using a graphical interface can be solved from the command line.

It is important to emphasize that command-line programs are divided into internal commands, which are loaded into memory, and external commands, which are individual executables.

Internal commands are concentrated in the files in the root directory, and the computer will read this file into memory every time it starts, which means that these internal commands reside in memory when the computer is running, and these internal commands cannot be seen with the dir command.

External commands are stored on the disk as separate files, they are all files with the suffix com and exe, they do not reside in memory, and will only be called into memory when the computer needs them.

DOS is an operating system based on key commands, which is similar to the meaning of XP, but there is no graphical operation interface, and DOS is a simulated environment from XP.
