Arenas, who debuted with the Golden State Warriors in his 2001-02 rookie season, was pinned to the bench and played only 47 games, averaging assists per game. Arenas was drafted by the Warriors in the 31st round in the second round in 2001, and the stubborn and even somewhat paranoid and confident Arenas announced on the spot that they would be able to start in less than the middle of the season, and Golden State already had a good pair of veteran guards on the team at that time: Blaylock and Cummings, plus Larry Hughes, Bob Sura and Jason Richardson, ** a second-round rookie spot? But, once again, Arenas has fulfilled its promise.
The following year, Arenas scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists per game, becoming the league's most improved player.
Note: Played 37 starts in his first season, and he was actually a starter in the second half of his first season with the Warriors.

The Arenas clause is for second-round picks who have only signed a two-year rookie contract. Rookies who have signed a three-year rookie contract and are eligible for Bird at the end of the contract are not included (both the Bird and Early Bird clauses are exceptions to the maximum amount of the salary cap before signing, and the team can renew the contract with the team's free agent without the salary cap). >>>More
He came back after a suspension, but he didn't have an All-Star level, and then he was traded to the Magic, replaced by Lewis, and now plays as a bench in the Magic, rarely making a brilliant performance. But it's not bad to be a substitute.
From now on, it's Kobe BryantBoth are scoring machines. But it's clear that Kobe is a bit more mature than Arenas. >>>More
