Ye Gong asked Confucius about Zilu, and Zilu was wrong. Zi said: "The female Xi does not say, she is also a person, she is angry and forgets to eat, she is happy to forget her worries, and she does not know that the old man is coming to Yun'er."
Zi said: "I am not born to know, so ancient, and I am keen to seek it." The son was silent, and the strange force was confused.
Zi said: "If you are a threesome, you must have my teacher: choose those who are good and follow them, and change those who are not good."
Zi said: "The virtue of ghosts and gods is magnificent!" See it and see it, listen to it and hear it, and leave it behind.
so that the people of the world may be dressed in full glory to bear the sacrifice. It is as if it were on it, as it is on its left and right. "Poems" said:
God's Geth is unthinkable! Think about it! 'The husband is subtle, sincere, and cannot be concealed as such a husband.
Confucius said, "What a great merit the ghosts and gods have for us! Look, you can't see him; Listen, can't hear him.
But it nourishes all things, and nothing can leave him. I will make all the people of the world fast and bathe, and they will wear splendid sacrificial garments, and I will inherit the sacrifices of our fathers. He is vast and omnipresent, as if in heaven, as if beside man.
The Book of Songs says: 'Ghosts and gods are incredible, and we dare not be disrespectful to them!' The subtle manifestations should be treated with sincerity, not deliberately covered up as they are now.
It is generally believed that Confucius said that "respect ghosts and gods and stay away", which means that Confucius adopted a pragmatic attitude towards such ethereal things as ghosts and gods, or adopted an eclecticism.
But this is actually a misunderstanding, because Confucius's "Yuanzhi" is aimed at people who worship ghosts and gods, and he actually emphasized that we must keep a distance in our behavior and have a sense of distance from our hearts, so as to truly reflect and maintain people's fear of ghosts and gods.
Even for people who need respect, if there is no sense of distance in their hearts, if they are too close to him in their behavior, or even hook up with him, this respect will disappear and become a nickname, and the other party may feel humiliated. Without a sense of distance, there is a lack of respect, no politeness, and no expression of wisdom.
Indeed, we modern Chinese have rarely understood the sense of distance, they line up close to others, regardless of whether the other party is male or female, get on the bus and rush up, in fact, there are few people. They don't know how to be "far away" and have a sense of distance in order to maintain respect for others, to be polite, and to be wise.
In ancient China, the etiquette between people was to avoid physical contact as much as possible, and to be "far away", and "far away" can reflect respect for people.

Strange forces are not "normal". People live and have to live day by day, why do they say that strange forces are chaotic? When I met a student who was lucky, I just gave an excuse for not studying well.
Zi is silent and strange, and from a certain point of view, it is one of the differences between Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. This difference refers to learning and attitude. Learn steadfastly, and have an attitude of "keeping to yourself".

The Analects are an excellent summary of people's learning culture, and it is suitable for us to absorb excellent culture from it.

This quote comes from the Analects, and is often interpreted as: Confucius did not talk about weirdness, bravery, rebellion, and ghosts.
In terms of its time, it has a special meaning. At that time, there were many jugglers and magic tricks in the market, which was very magical, and some people asked Confucius if this was a manifestation of the gods, but Confucius disagreed, thinking that this was a "strange force", and it also ruined the majesty of the gods. Juggling and magic were thus denied by Confucius.
Of course, the charm of a classic that has gone through thousands of years lies in its immortal vitality, and different people's different understandings of it have created this immortality. Some people interpret it as "the son is silent, and the strange force is chaotic", which means: Confucius does not speak, and he is afraid that he will be distracted by pure rent power and affect his concentration, and it is difficult to think wholeheartedly.
This understands "strange" as a verb, and it is very reasonable.
May you read more of the classics and pass on our ancient culture. Think diligently, and give the classics the connotation of the times. This is our common mission to honor our trouser brothers.

In terms of its time, it has a special meaning. At that time, there were many jugglers and magic tricks in the market, which was very magical, and some people asked Confucius if this was a god and a clear spirit, but Confucius did not think so, and regretted that this was a "strange force", and it also ruined the majesty of the gods. Juggling and magic were thus denied by Confucius.
