How journalists can practice integrity standards

Seek truth from facts and report the news and adhere to principles.

First, uphold the principle of truthfulness, objectivity and fairness, and refrain from engaging in paid news and fake news.

second, to convey positive energy, not to produce or disseminate harmful information on the Internet and other media for personal gain, to ensure the quality of production and services, and not to provide shoddy publications, audiovisual works and technical services;

Third, it is responsible to the public and does not produce, endorse or disseminate false advertisements;

Fourth, advocate the spirit of contract and do not make breach of contract that affects the integrity and order of the industry;

Fifth, actively innovate independently, and do not plagiarize other people's ideas and achievements;

Sixth, to carry out healthy media and literary criticism, without derogating the reputation and works of others;

Seventh, establish a good professional image and refrain from engaging in "pornography, gambling, and drugs" or acts that violate public order and good customs.

I believe that my retirement will not affect the basic principles of this newspaper, and this newspaper will always strive for development and reform.

u Remember that there are two aspects to every problem, both of which need to be reflected.

u Be credible.

u Dig up the facts. Mistakes are inevitable, but try to be accurate. I'd rather have a very accurate report than a hundred reports that are half wrong.

u Be decent, fair and tolerant.

u Support people – not beat them. Everyone has a good side, bring out this good side, and never hurt other people's feelings unnecessarily.

When reporting on political gatherings, gather facts and report them as they are, not as you would like.

u Treat all religious matters with respect.

If possible, never ignore an innocent woman or child's confession of a wrongs or misfortune about her relative. Don't wait to do it when asked, but take the initiative.

u And, most importantly, clean. Never let a dirty word or unsubstantiated story go to print.

u I hope that this newspaper will do this, so that it can reach thousands of households without harming the innocence of any child.
