Exceeding 100Wh but not exceeding 160Wh may be carried in the Checked Baggage or Carry-on Baggage with the approval of the Airline. Lithium batteries exceeding 160Wh are strictly prohibited.

Take the 37V 10000mAh power bank as an example, the rated energy = multiplied by 10000mAh = 37Wh, less than 100Wh, in line with the regulations, can be brought on the plane. In the same way, the maximum output voltage of the general power bank is 5V, according to the formula conversion, capacity = rated energy divided by voltage, 100Wh divided by 5V is equal to 20,000 mAh, so the capacity of the power bank within 20,000 mAh can be brought on the plane.

3. Quantity regulations.

Each passenger can bring a maximum of 2 power banks on board, and the rated energy cannot be greater than 100Wh, i.e. the total capacity does not exceed 20,000 mAh. Therefore, the 20,000 mAh power bank should not be carried on board with your hands.

According to Article 4 of the Regulations on the Administration of Transport of Dangerous Goods in Civil Aviation of China:

It is strictly forbidden to carry a power bank with a rated energy of more than 160Wh; It is strictly forbidden to carry a power bank that does not indicate the rated energy and fails to calculate the rated energy through other parameters marked.

20,000 mAh translates to 288Wh, which exceeds the maximum of 160Wh set by the airline. Therefore, a 20,000 mAh power bank cannot be carried on the plane.
