Gen. 26:1 In Abraham's days there was a famine in the land; Then there was a famine, and Isaac went to Gerar to Abimelech king of the Philistines. 」
The land of the guide (xii:10), including the area of Pier Lahai and Rai, where Isaac lived (xxv:11). There are no irrigated rivers here, and the harvest depends entirely on the autumn and spring rains (Deut. 11:14). As Moses said:
From the beginning of the year to the end of the year, the eyes of the LORD your God are always watching over the land (Deut. 11:12). When God's people obey God, He will bring the spring rain on your land in due season, so that you may gather grain, and new wine, and oil. When God's people turned away from God, He shut up the heavens from raining and the earth from producing (Deuteronomy 11:17). Therefore, the famine in Canaan was not accidental, but a tool that God used to train His people.
Abimelech literally means "my father is king", the title of king of the Philistines (Psalm 34; 1 Samuel 21:10). This Abimelech is not the same Abimelech of Abraham (xx2).
Gen. 26:2 And the LORD appeared unto Isaac, saying, Thou shalt not go down to Egypt, but dwell in the land which I have shewed thee. Gen 26:3 And I will be with thee and bless thee when thou sojourn in the land: for I will give thee and thy seed all these lands.
I will establish the oath I swore to Abraham your father. 」

2:1 And all that is in heaven and earth is made.
2:2 And on the seventh day the work of God's creation was finished, and on the seventh day he rested from all his work.
2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because on it God rested from all his work of creation.
2:4 This is the origin of the creation of the heavens and the earth, in the day when the LORD God made them:
2:5 There is no vegetation in the field, and no herbs in the field have grown, because the LORD God has not yet sent rain on the earth, and no one has ploughed the land, 2:6 but a mist rises from the earth and moistens the earth.
2:7 And the LORD God made man out of the dust of the ground, and breathed life into his nostrils, and he became a living soul, and his name was Adam.
2:8 And the LORD God set up a garden in Eden in the east, and put the people he had made there.
2:9 And the LORD God made every tree grow out of the ground, so that it might be pleasing to the eye, and the fruit thereof might be food. And in the midst of the garden there was a tree of life, and a tree of good and evil.
2:10 And rivers came out of Eden to water the garden, and from there there were four branches:
2:11 And the name of the first stream was Bethan, which was round all the land of Havilah. There is gold there, 2:12 and the gold of the land is good; There there were pearls and red agate.
2:13 And the name of the second river was Gihon, which was round about all the land of Ethiopia.
2:14 The third river was called Tigris, which flowed east of Assyria, and the fourth was the Euphrates.
2:15 And the LORD God put him in the garden of Eden, and put him in repair, and kept it.
2:16 And the Lord God said to him, "You shall eat as much as you like from every tree in the garden, but thou shalt not eat of the fruit of the tree which is the knowledge of good and evil, for in the day you eat of it you will surely die." ”
2:18 And the Lord God said, It is not good for him to be alone: I will make him a spouse to help him. ”
2:19 And all the beasts and all the beasts and all the birds of the air, which the LORD God had made out of the earth, brought him to see what his name was. And that is the name of the man who called all kinds of living creatures before he was stupid.
2:20 And he gave names to all the livestock, and to the birds of the air, and to the beasts of the field, but he did not find a mate to help him.
2:21 And the LORD God put him to sleep, and he fell asleep; So he took off one of his ribs and put the flesh together.
2:22 And the LORD God made a woman out of the rib that he had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.
2:23 And the man said, This is the bone of my bones and the flesh of my flesh, and I may call her a woman, because she was taken out of a man. ”
2:24 Therefore a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.
2:25 The husband and wife were naked, and they were not ashamed.

1.While living in Killal, Abraham told King Kiral that Abimelech's wife, Sarah, was his sister.
2.So Abimelech sent for Sarah.
3.But Abimelech dreamed that God said to him at night, Sabi is someone else's wife, and she must not be approached, or she will surely die.
4.Abimelech summoned Abraham early in the morning, and Abraham told the truth.
5.Therefore, Abimelech gave Abraham the flock, the herd of the cows, the male servant, and the maid, and returned it to Lu Feng to return to his wife, and let him choose the land to live in at will.
6.Abraham pleaded with God to heal Abimelech's wife and handmaid.
7.It was also because of Saraki that God made the women of Abimelech's family infertile.
