Preparation tools: 1. Windows XP system image file.

2. Start the boot disk of the USB flash drive.

Install the Windows XP system as follows: 1. Put the Windows XP system recovery disc into the optical drive, correctly set the optical drive as the first boot order in the BIOS, or quickly click the "F12" key when the "Lenovo" interface appears when the computer boots up (as shown in the figure below), and use the up and down arrow keys to move the highlight to the optical drive device in the pop-up "Select Boot Device" dialog box and press the "Enter" key to boot from the optical drive.

7. In this way, the partition just now has been deleted (as shown in the figure below) and has become an undivided space. At this point, press the "C" key in the letter key area of the keyboard to start creating a new disk partition.

8. The Create Disk Partition Size dialog box appears, press the "Enter" key directly to create a new partition space for the partition space you just deleted.

9. Create a new (unused) partition (as shown in the figure below), press the "Enter" key to install the new system on the partition you just created.

10. Prompt: The partition has not been formatted, use the up and down arrow keys to move the white marquee box to select the desired file system (if you need to use Lenovo's one-click recovery function and driver and software intelligent installation function, the partition file system is recommended as FAT), press the "Enter" key to start formatting the partition.

11. After the partition is formatted, it will start to copy the file directly, and after the file is copied, the installer will start to initialize the Windows configuration. Then the system will automatically restart after 15 seconds.

12. After restarting, the installation interface as shown in the figure below will appear, without manual intervention.

13. After restarting the computer several times, follow the on-screen prompts, and finally the interface after the system installation is completed as shown in the figure below appears. Then you can restart the computer, and when the "Lenovo" interface appears, you can quickly click the "F4" key to bring up the "Driver and Software" installation module under LeOS, and follow the prompts to complete the installation of the computer's driver and random software (if you don't have this function, you can use the driver CD that comes with it to install all the drivers).
