The people who were listening to the Dharma on the south bank of the Ganges River were terrified when they saw a man coming from the surface of the river, because the river was several feet deep. So they asked the Buddha:"Is this the Bodhisattva's instruction?

Otherwise, how could he have come from the river? "The Buddha said:"No, he's not an emanation of a bodhisattva, he's like you, but he has absolute faith in what I'm talking about, so he can come from the river.

We don't walk well on the road of life, not because the road is too narrow, but because our vision is too narrow. In the end, it is not the road that blocks us, but ourselves.

In one year of great calamity, when the son really did not want to eat, he carried his blind mother to the mountains, put her down, and said, "Mother, sit here first, and I will give you what you want to eat." Mother said:

Son, my mother still has half a piece of bread here. As he spoke, he took out half of the bread from his bosom and gave it to his son. The son immediately knelt down and said:

Mother, I'll carry what you want to eat on my back.

The story of the fishing rod.

There was an old man fishing by the river, a child came to see him fishing, the old man was skillful, so it didn't take long to catch a basket full of fish, the old man saw that the child was very cute, he wanted to give him the whole basket of fish, the child shook his head, the old man asked in surprise, "Why don't you want to?" "Child:

I want a fishing rod in your hand. The old man asked, "What do you want to do with your fishing rod?"

The child said, "It didn't take long for this basket of fish to be eaten, and if I had a fishing rod, I would have caught it myself, and I would never have eaten it all my life." ”

Because, he doesn't know the skills of fishing, just having a fishing rod is useless, because the important thing about fishing is not in the fishing rod, but in the fishing skills, too many people think that they have a fishing rod on the road of life, and they are no longer afraid of the wind and rain on the road, so it is inevitable that they will fall on the muddy ground. Just like a child looking at an old man, thinking that as long as there is a fishing rod, there will be endless fish, like a clerk looking at the boss, thinking that as long as he sits in the office, he will have a source of money to roll in.

A bird was captured alive by the hunter, and the bird opened his mouth and said to the hunter, "O noble lord!"I don't know how many cattle and sheep you have eaten, and I don't know how many camels have been slaughtered by you, although you are still not satisfied, you still don't have enough to eat, but my skeleton is really not enough for you to stuff your teeth, why don't I give you three pieces of advice, you let me go!

Then you'll know if I'm smart or not. You don't have much to lose, but you get a spiritual gain. The hunter asked

How can you tell me your three pieces of advice?The bird replied, "I will speak first when it is in your hands."When I fly up the eaves, the second will be said;After that, I flew up to the branch and said the third.

These three pieces of advice will guarantee you happiness throughout your life. After saying this, the bird, which was still in the hunter's hand, gave its first advice: "Do not believe the empty words of men.

When he had said that, the hunter let it go, and the bird flew to the eaves. Then the bird gave the second piece of advice: "The dead cannot be traced, that is, let the past pass!"

Don't regret it again. And then he said, "Do you know?"

There is a huge pearl inside me. I swear to heaven: If you have this pearl, you will be able to keep your children and grandchildren happy.

You lost it, and the loss was great. When the hunter heard this, he could not help but weep bitterly. The bird said:

Why can't you heed my second advice, 'The dead can be chased?'Let it pass!Don't regret it!

Then it flew to the branch of a tree in the courtyard and said with a smile: "My third piece of advice is: Don't believe any nonsense I don't weigh even three dirams (1).

Wouldn't it be a joke to say that you have a huge pearl in your belly!The hunter woke up from a dream, and then he stopped crying. Said:

Give me your third piece of advice! The bird said, "Didn't I make it all clear?"

After saying that, he spread his wings and flew away. If a fool does not wake up from his deep sleep, advice to him is like sowing seeds on saline ground. The cracks of stupidity cannot be repaired, and the sowing of the seeds of wisdom is in vain.
