Founded in May 2002, Sun Yat-sen University Caring Student Association (formerly known as Caring Student Aid Project) is a public welfare club across four campuses spontaneously organized by students of Sun Yat-sen University.
-
The association's student assistance model mainly adopts the "1+1+1" direct donation to poor students' tuition fees, and encourages and assists the funders and recipients to contact each other by letter and **, etc., to give the recipients moral support. At the same time, the association is trying to develop the mode of student assistance in kind and teachers in order to give the greatest help to poor students.
The "1+1+1" student aid model is "one aided student + one staff member of the Caring Student Aid Association + one (some) sponsor", which has the following characteristics:
1. All funding information will be published online at any time to ensure transparency and openness;
2. Most of the information of the subsidized poor students is obtained from the summer survey of CUHK students in the countryside, and the poverty situation is guaranteed to be true;
3. The sponsor will send the subsidy directly to the poor students without going through the association to ensure the transparency of the funds;
4. Through the role of the love ambassador as a bridge, you can keep abreast of the learning and living conditions of the recipients and the use of funds;
Using the summer vacation inspection time every year, a random survey will be conducted on the study, life and use of funds of the poor students who were subsidized in the previous year.

There are two statues in the main body of CUHK, which are thought to be footnotes to the history of CUHK. One is Chen Yinke, sitting in a robe in front of the hut in the alley; One is Sun Yat-sen, standing in the school in a tunic and looking north. Chen Yinke, known for his spirit of freedom, is history (although I don't know much about liberalism and don't comment on it); Yat-sen, who has been given the meaning of an alternative historical path, is also a history (although I will not comment on the Xinhai Revolution), but these two are a condensation of the heritage of CUHK.
Sun Yat-sen University has a total of 61 majors, including four science majors, namely bioinformatics, physics, chemistry and marine science. There are nine medical majors, namely Health Inspection and Quarantine, Basic Medicine, Clinical Medicine, Stomatology, Preventive Medicine, Pharmacy, Forensic Medicine, Nursing and **** Science. There are three jurisprudence, which are law, international politics and anthropology. >>>More
