The essence of studying Buddhism is how to use your heart.

When encountering things, how to think, how to judge, how to choose, and how to deal with things are all related to our intentions. I don't know how to pay attention, so to speak, this person is not studying Buddhism.

We habitually use our own habits, ego, and preconceptions to look at, analyze, and deal with problems, and this is all wrong.

This is always learning from "me", not always following Buddhism.

Every day, we recite the ten vows of the Bodhisattva: The eight always follow the Buddhism.

What is meant by always following the Dharma, that is, always thinking about the Dharma, remembering the Dharma, and applying the Dharma, which is always following the Dharma.

**。Otherwise, what will it be like to learn from "me" and "me"? Learn to be reincarnated, upside down, and suffering.

Therefore, the fundamental study of Buddhism is to make good use of the mind.

Everyone must firmly grasp the fundamentals of studying Buddhism. When you encounter something, don't reason with others, there is no reason to talk about it. Reasoning falls to the world, and the worldly distinctions and the troubles of self-grasping are reasoning, so how can there be reason?

So, if you are a true cultivator, if you encounter a problem or a mistake, it's all my fault, so you have to look back and look at yourself.

All the faults are mine, they have nothing to do with other people, they are all caused by their own habits, ignorance, and delusions.

Therefore, to see whether a person is really practicing is to see whether he has sufficient self-contemplation and self-reflection ability, if not, it means that the cultivation is still far behind, and the foundation of cultivation has not yet been laid.

If you have this ability, this person will make people feel happy, and if you have this ability, he will never harm sentient beings, even if he is temporarily troubled, he can quickly subdue it.

With this ability of reflection and awareness, he is able to quickly subdue his troubles, settle down in mindfulness, and gradually, he is able to bring boundless benefits to all beings.

Great oaks from little acorns grow.. Only by learning to make good use of their minds will we be able to reap the benefits of the Dharma and generate the merits of our practice. Otherwise, he is a false student of Buddhism and a practitioner.

Broadly speaking, it is synonymous with primitive Buddhism; In a narrow sense, it refers to the Buddhism of the Buddha when he was alive, and also refers to the content of the Buddha's enlightenment and the teachings he said. Since ancient times, Buddhism has been divided into two vehicles, which means that the purpose of Hinayana practice is limited to sound and sound, and it is a convenient religion of the right door, and it is the first door of Buddhism and teaching. In modern times, in the context of Buddhist research and doctrinal history, the benchmark has been changed, avoiding the use of the term Theravada Buddhism, and calling the earliest Buddhism the root Buddhism or primitive Buddhism, when the teachings enshrined were the direct teachings of Shakyamuni, while Mahayana Buddhism was based on such teachings.

Today's Sri Lanka (formerly known as Ceylon), Burma, and Thailand belong to the former, while Nepal, Mongolia, China, Korea, and Japan belong to Mahayana, or both large and small. (cf. Primitive Buddhism 4061) p4133

The fundamental doctrine of Buddhism is dependent voidness through the Four Noble Truths and the Twelve Dependent Truths.

When Venerable Sariputta saw the majesty of Masheng Bhikkhu, he asked Masheng Bhikkhu who his teacher was. Masheng Bhikshu replied that it was Shakyamuni Buddha. Sariputta then asked what the teacher of Masheng Bhikshu was talking about, and what the fundamental teachings were.

There is no root in the Dharma. As human beings who study the Dharma, we should take "life and death are great things, and impermanence is rapid."

This is the root of practice, not the root of Buddhism.
