In the "Sutra of Merit of the Boundless Buddha Land", it is said that one day in the Elysian World is equivalent to a catastrophe in the Suva World!

What is the concept of a catastrophe: it is the time that the universe of sampa has gone through from the formation to the destruction of a cycle, which is what we usually say, adjectives such as the sea withering and the rocks rotting, and the destruction of heaven and earth.

One tribulation has to go through four intermediate tribulations, and each middle tribulation is divided into 20 small tribulations, and each small tribulation is divided into one increased tribulation and one decreasing tribulation. The increase in eons is the average life expectancy of human beings from 10 to 84,000 years old, and due to the general practice of good karma, it increases by one year every 100 years, and the time experienced in this way is the general practice of negative karma by human beings, from 84,000 years to 10 years old, and decreases by one year every 100 years.

    - Of course, Elysium has no sun, moon and stars, day and night, etc., and there is no eons such as destruction, but since the successful completion of Amitabha Buddha's great wish, Elysium was established, and it has been existing ever since (in the Sutra of Amitayus, it is explained by "establishing normality"), it is purely pure and bright, immeasurably solemn, and it is equivalent to one day with the opening and closing of lotus flowers.

The four kings who are closer to us, with a life span of 500 years, equivalent to 9,000,000 years old in the world, Elysium is the Buddha country created by the wish of Amitabha Buddha, which is extremely special, there are no three evil paths, and they will never fall until they become Buddhas... It's just wonderful.

People are as good and solemn as Amitabha, they are all immeasurable, which is not something that we ordinary people can measure. One day in Elysium is equivalent to how many days in the world of savaIt's not that we ordinary people can measure it. Amitabha!

Personally, I think that the concept of time in Elysium is not like the concept of time in our space, maybe there is no concept of time in that space, maybe the concept of Elysium is different in several spaces at the same time, that is to say, Elysium has different concepts of time in different time and space. For example, one day in this space could be a year here, and in another one might be a thousand years or more here.

I don't think I've ever seen it in any scripture. However, there is a comparison between the time in heaven and the time of the sampa, and a day and night on a certain day is equal to 500 years in the world of sampa, which is long enough. I guess Elysium should be longer than that.

It is said in the scriptures that Elysium is a catastrophe in one day.

Suppose a thought is a calamity, how many eons is it? It seems that the concept of time does not exist, so how can I compare it?

You ask the old monk how old he is, he only tells you how many springs and autumns have passed, and only explains his own right to understand, the level is limited, not necessarily right, I hope to throw bricks and lead jade, and someone superior can give you a reasonable explanation.

Suo Po World: "Suopo" is a transliteration of Sanskrit, also translated as "Suoha", "Suohe", etc., which means "forbearance". According to Buddhism, the "great world" in which people live is called the "world of sava", and the head of this world is Shakyamuni Buddha.

The world of sampa is the three thousand worlds of Shakyamuni's Buddhism. The sentient beings in this realm are content with the ten evils, and they can endure all kinds of sufferings and refuse to leave, and they are the places where the three evils and the five pleasures are mixed.

Elysium: Paraphrase of the Sanskrit name sukha vati. Transliterated as Suharva Emperor, Sumoti, Suati.

It refers to the Pure Land of Amitabha Buddha. It is also known as the Pure Land of Bliss, the Land of Bliss, the Pure Land of the West, the West, the West Heaven, the Pure Land of Anyang, the World of Anyang, and the Land of Bliss. From then on, the world went west, passing through the other side of the ten trillion Buddha Lands to be the Pure Land of Bliss.

The situation of this Pure Land is explained in detail in the Amitabha Sutra, and Amitabha Buddha is still speaking there today. According to the Sutra of Amitayus, a person who has been reborn in the land of the Buddha has experienced all kinds of happiness, for example, he has the 32 aspects of a Buddha on his body, and has five eyes and six divine powers, the five senses are very subtle, his heart is comfortable and cool, he hears the Dharma in his heart, and makes offerings to the Buddha and Bodhisattva, that is, he becomes enlightened. However, in this Pure Land, there are so-called border lands, doubtful cities, fetal palaces, etc., which are the birthplaces of those who doubt the salvation of Amitabha Buddha.

Amitabha! Brother! As for your questions, it is more difficult for us ordinary people to answer, so let's keep this question for the time being, and ask it again when we meet the Buddhas, and there will be an answer.

Now, let's put these problems aside for the time being! First, we ordinary people are not omniscient like Buddhas, and we cannot omniscient all the Buddhas. Second, even if these questions are answered, they have nothing to do with our liberation. In other words, we don't pursue these issues, we don't get in the way of liberation.

On the contrary, obsessing over these issues can become an obstacle!

Senior brother, in response to your last two questions, I will give you a simple answer below:

Shakyamuni Buddha has great causes for our sampa sentient beings, so he manifests this samsara world, guides sentient beings with fate, and frees them from suffering. However, this does not mean that the Buddha only incarnates sentient beings in this sampa world. What the Buddha said, we can only know when we have a record of the classics, and what the Buddha said for us is only a dime.

There are some Fa that are of no use to us sentient beings, and he doesn't necessarily explain them to us, and if we don't talk about them, we don't know them, but that doesn't mean they don't have them. Therefore, what the Buddha has taught does not mean that we are a small world!

All appearances are illusory, and everything is illusory according to our karma, whether it is the world of samsara or the world of bliss. If we can be reborn in the Blissful World, we must have such good causes, otherwise it would never have been possible. If we think that the current world of samsara is illusory, then of course the world of bliss is also illusory, and it is also a product of karma.

However, if we all think that everything is true and true, then of course Elysium is true! We have different karma, so when we are reborn in the Elysian World, we will also feel different karma. This is also within the scope of karma!

Just imagine: if you are enjoying the happiness of life every day, but one day is a catastrophe in our current world of sava, will you feel tired after enjoying the day? It is precisely for this reason that the Buddha has set up the Seven Treasure Pools, the Eight Merit Waters, and the gatherings, meditations, sutras, and recitations of various sayings, ......and other gatherings; It makes it easy for time to pass and makes it easy for the public to grow.

We should know some of the truth in this. Therefore, although the feeling of a day in Elysium is only one day, it is very different from the feeling of a day in Suva; You shouldn't assume that a day here feels exactly the same as a day here.

If you are purely interested in your own interests, rebirth in Elysium is certainly the best choice. But why don't we only take the benefits of bliss and strive to get rid of our sexual and intellectual disabilities, and first seek the merits of not retreating and turning around, so as to avoid the low karma and long-term calamity after being born in the West?

In addition, there are many bodhisattvas who are extremely compassionate and ask them to leave the world of sampa for self-benefit first, and not to go through the suffering sentient beings here first, and to sit back and see the sentient beings lose the opportunity to be saved and suffer more, they can't do it, so they choose to stay in the sampa world instead of being reborn in bliss. For these bodhisattvas, happiness and suffering are not a problem, but it is important to practice the bodhisattva path for the benefit of sentient beings. The number seven refers to perfection in Buddhism; For example, in the Consciousness-only sect, the eighth consciousness is the formless and aspectless ontology, and although the following seven consciousnesses are the hues of the second stage, they are completed when they are seen through and transcended.

I don't know what you're worried about It has nothing to do with suffering Liberation is liberation And the question of time is just an illusion I don't know if it's the Seven Tribulations **Heard it.

Elysium is free of all sufferings, it is a gathering place for all good people, which means that if you study Buddhism there, everyone will be happy, no one will hinder you, slander you, insult you, stay away from you, and people in Elysium will be full of Dharma joy every day, and they will cultivate if they want to, and if they don't want to practice, they will not cultivate, and they will do whatever they want.

But in this world of sampa, the world of five candles and evil, it is not easy to learn Buddhism, and if you practice in the world of sampa, your friends will hinder you, your family will stop you, and as long as people don't like you to study Buddhism, they will find ways to destroy your practice.

That's why one hundred days of bliss is not as good as one day of sampa, here is the difficulty of comparing the cultivation, not that it is better over there, if you want to say good, of course, it is the best in the world of bliss, you can get close to the three saints of the West.

This can be said about Western Elysium. Western Elysium is a world "built" by Amitabha Buddha for suffering beings, where there is no suffering, only happiness.
