Feeding time: I read the post that the feeding time is from 18 o'clock to 21 o'clock in the afternoon, from 4 o'clock to 6 o'clock in the morning, and after the sun has not risen, and the sun has set, this time is okay in winter, but in the summer, it will start to light at more than 4 o'clock, and it will not be completely dark at 8 o'clock in the evening, how to master this time. In the summer, can you be earlier in the morning, from 2 to 3 o'clock, and later after 9 o'clock in the evening, so that you can also avoid people who exercise and walk in the morning?

    What merit is the greatest?

According to Theravada Buddhism, the Buddha had a very detailed explanation of the merits that result from actions.

Once, the Buddha's adoptive mother wanted to offer the Buddha's robe as a personal almsgiving, but the Buddha refused and said, "Gautami, offer it to the Sangha." When you make an offering to the Sangha, you are offering to me and the Sangha.

When Ananda asked the Buddha why he refused to accept personal alms, the Buddha gave an analysis based on the law of karmic retribution. The Buddha began by explaining that giving to a variety of recipients is a hundredfold retribution; Give to an immoral mortal man a thousandfold; Give alms to a virtuous mortal man and get 100,000 times; Giving outside of the Dharma education period to a person who has attained Dhyana gives 10 billion times more.

However, giving to a person who is about to attain the attainment of Sudra, or a Sudra Buddha, or a person who is about to attain the attainment of the fruition of Sudra, or even an arhat or a fully enlightened Buddha, can expect to reap an infinite number of multiplier results.

The Buddha then explained, "I declare that the merit given to an individual can never be greater than the merit given to the Sangha.

The Buddha explained the special power of wisdom when he mentioned that a person did many great almsgiving. The Buddha said in the Velama Sutta Sutra:

Compared with making offerings to the Sangha headed by the Buddha, the rewards of taking refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha with confidence are greater.

Compared with taking refuge in the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha with confidence, the fruits of taking the (five) vows with confidence are even greater.

Compared to taking the five vows with confidence, the rewards of practicing compassion by simply expressing a cow's milk are greater.

The rewards of maintaining impermanence and thinking about it with a flick of your fingers are greater than the time you spend milking a cow to practice compassion. ”

Therefore, the order of merit from smallest to greatest is as follows: Giving to Animals, Giving to Ordinary Beings, Giving to Those Who Have Attained Dhyana, Giving to the Sages, Giving to the Sangha, Taking Refuge in the Three Jewels, Holding the Five Precepts, Compassion Meditation, and Contemplation of Wisdom.

It is easy to think of merit. If you look at the Diamond Sutra, you will know that the seven treasures of the three thousand worlds are not as meritorious as believing in and understanding the Diamond Sutra and giving speeches to others.

I'm sorry if you don't understand what you're asking.

    Amitabha.
