1. The reason and purpose of the investigation.
Introduce every student into the world of books, cultivate a love for books, and make books a guiding light in life. "The new curriculum standard puts forward higher requirements for Chinese teachers to teach reading, we should not only teach students how to read, but more importantly, cultivate students' interest in reading, so that they can develop a lifelong habit of conscious reading. In order to understand the extracurricular reading situation of students, scientifically guide students to develop good reading habits, and open up the extracurricular reading environment of primary school students in our school, I conducted a survey on the extracurricular reading situation of primary school students in the whole school.
Strengthening extracurricular reading, broadening the content, form and channels of language learning, enabling students to learn and use language in a broad space, enrich their knowledge, and improve their ability are the needs of the development of the times, the development of language education, and the needs of quality education and student growth.
Chinese is an important basic subject in primary school. In teaching, it is the responsibility and obligation of language educators to cultivate students' good reading habits, stimulate students' strong interest in reading, expand students' reading horizons, improve students' reading ability, and guide them to learn and use Chinese in their daily life. Carrying out extracurricular reading and extending Chinese classroom teaching outward is the need of the development of the times, the need of the development of language education, and the need of quality education for the growth of students.
2. The time, place, object, and method of the investigation.
What is the current situation of extracurricular reading for urban primary school students? On March 1, 2011, I conducted an extracurricular reading questionnaire survey among 29 students in the first grade (1) class of Yucai Primary School.

An investigation report generally consists of two parts: a title and a body.
a) Title. Titles can be written in two ways. One is the standardized title format, that is, "subject of the document" plus "language", and the basic format is "investigation report on ", "investigation report on ", "investigation", etc.
The other is a free-style title, which includes three types: declarative, question-based, and a combination of main and subtitle. The statement type is such as "Northeast Normal University Master's Degree Graduates Employment Survey", the question type is "Why University Graduates Tend to Choose Jobs in the Coastal and Beijing-Tianjin Regions", the main title states the main conclusions of the survey report or puts forward the central question, and the subtitle indicates the object, scope and problem of the investigation, which is actually similar to the standard format of "publication theme" and "language", such as "The development of colleges and universities focuses on discipline construction and practical thinking on university discipline construction". As an official document, it is best to use a standardized title format or a free-style combination of the main and secondary titles.
b) Text. The text is generally divided into three parts: the preface, the main body, and the ending.
1 Introduction. There are several ways to write it: the first is to state the cause or purpose of the investigation, the time and place, the object or scope, the process and method, and the composition of the personnel and other circumstances of the investigation itself, from which the central question or basic conclusion can be derived; The second is to write down the historical background, general development process, current situation, main achievements, outstanding problems and other basic information of the survey object, and then put forward the central question or main viewpoint; The third is to get straight to the point and directly summarize the results of the investigation, such as affirming the practice, pointing out the problem, prompting the impact, and explaining the central content.
The preface plays the role of the finishing touch, and it should be concise and concise, and the topic should be straight to the point.
2 Subject. This is the most important part of the survey report, which details the basic situation, practices, and experiences of the survey and research, as well as the specific understandings, viewpoints, and basic conclusions drawn from the analysis of the materials obtained from the survey and research.
3 Ending. There are also many ways to write at the end, which can put forward ways to solve the problem, countermeasures or suggestions for the next step to improve the work; or summarize the main ideas of the whole text to further deepen the theme; or ask questions that provoke further thought; Or look to the future, give encouragement and call to action.
