If you are not satisfied with such a simple treatment, please continue to see the following to remove the heat dissipation module, as shown in the figure to remove the four screws, pay attention to the order when disassembling (in fact, it does not have to be in the order marked, as long as it is guaranteed to be removed at one time in the diagonal direction), at most two turns of threads each time, and then screw the other screw diagonally two times, so as to ensure that the CPU crystal will not be crushed due to excessive force on a certain corner. Because the original thermal paste has been in a high-temperature environment for a long time, it will generally age into a solid state in one or two years, and stick the heat dissipation module and the CPU, so after removing the four screws, pinch the copper tube away from the end of the CPU with your thumb and index finger, pull it up hard, and after pulling it out, it is the following scene.

At this time, you can put the radiator module under the faucet and rinse, and brush it with a toothbrush while flushing. After that, the thermal paste that has aged and agglomerated is removed.

The thermal paste on the CPU should be scraped clean with plastic sheets, nails, wood chips, etc., and metal should not be used, as metal is easy to damage the crystal. The thermal paste on the copper sheet can be scraped with a razor blade, but do not use the edged side, scrape with the back of the knife, so as not to damage the original polished surface, resulting in the copper sheet can not be in close contact with the CPU, clean it and reapply the thermal paste.

Scrape flat with a plastic sheet and try to be as thin as possible to eliminate leakage and avoid the formation of large thermal resistance and deterioration of thermal conductivity.

Finally, disassemble the metal side of the fan.

Unplug the fan by hand, inject a small amount of lubricating oil, preferably solid grease (butter), into the bearing, and put it back on.

Go back the way you came, and don't forget to plug in the fan motor.

Precautions. This tutorial is only suitable for models with a modular design on the D-side and a separate disassembly of the housing of the heat dissipation part.

Addendum: When the lid is closed, the top side is called "Side A", the screen side is called "Side B", the keyboard side is called "Side C", and the bottom side is called "Side D".
