Anti-rabies immunization is one of the earliest immunization methods, invented by the famous French scientist Pasteur. In 1885, the rabies vaccine was administered to humans for the first time. At present, the rabies vaccine widely used in China is made by using mouse kidney tissue culture and inactivation.

Anti-rabies serum is made from the serum of horses that have had rabies and developed antibodies to rabies after proper treatment.

When a person is bitten, scratched or licked by a dog or other animal, whether or not they are a rabid dog or a mad animal, they should be vaccinated against rabies.

If the dog or animal that bites a person must be a mad dog or a mad animal, or if the bite is severe, or if the wound is close to the central nervous system, such as the head, face, and neck, anti-rabies serum should be used in addition to rabies vaccine immediately. This is because it takes 15 to 20 days to produce antibodies after the rabies vaccine is injected, and the antibody level can reach the peak in about 1 month to effectively prevent the onset of the disease. When the bite is severe or the bite site is close to the central nervous system, the disease often occurs before the body has time to produce enough antibodies after vaccination.

Combined with the use of anti-rabies serum, the antitoxin of the serum can neutralize the free virus in the body in time, prevent the spread of the virus, and relatively prolong the incubation period of rabies, so that the body has enough time to produce its own antibodies, reducing the chance of onset. Allergy testing should be done with anti-rabies serum.

The rabies vaccine should be given 1 injection intramuscularly on the first day, for a total of 5 injections. 0 refers to the day of the first injection, and so on. If anti-rabies serum is injected, it is best to use it the day before or on the day of the vaccine, and should be given a booster dose on the 10th day and 10th day after the full 5 doses of the vaccine.

Rabies vaccine and serum should be injected in a timely, full-course and sufficient amount, and the earlier the injection time is from the bite time, the better the prevention effect.

I had to get an injection, but after 50 hours, it seems to be very troublesome! Be sure to go the same, otherwise it is likely to be rabies!

Hey. In fact, this also depends on luck.

Like I was scratched by a cat in elementary school, and now it's okay after a few years, so I was accidentally scratched by a dog's tooth a month ago, because it was scratched in a place that was already easy to break, and it was troublesome to get vaccinated, and the dog had done veterinary vaccines before, so although there was a lot of blood, I didn't get vaccinated, and now it's fine.

In fact, the chance of getting rabies is usually not very large. Even if you are bitten by a rabid dog, only 70% of the time.

The reason why we need to get vaccinated is also for the sake of safety, not afraid of 10,000 just in case, such a slight small wound, maybe only one out of 10,000 people may be sick, but if you want to be careful, you still have to be vaccinated.

But if you are brave, you can also choose not to fight, after all, the probability of disease is very low, but this is also very risky, because rabies is incurable, once the attack can only wait for death. So think again.

If you choose not to get vaccinated in the end, then don't think about the vaccine anymore, otherwise there will be a psychological burden.

Also, the idea that people usually say that as long as they are not bitten by a rabid dog, there is no problem, and whether the dog is healthy or not, whether it has been vaccinated against rabies for veterinary purposes, has more or less carried the virus, and it is at risk.

In addition, the incubation period of rabies is not as long as the legendary 10 or 20 years, and in most cases it can be seen in about a few months.

That's all I can say, and I hope it helps.

The best thing is to fight, not afraid of 10,000, just in case. Don't think that the dog is healthy, and the wound is small and it is taken lightly, as if it is a joke with your own life. By the way, if you are bitten by a dog, you can scrape some moss off the wall, add some brown sugar to mash it, and then apply it to the wound.

Be careful not to get water during the entire production process. My grandmother had been bitten by a mad dog before, and the hospital was half an hour's drive from my house, but fortunately she was able to save her life. God bless you.

How long have you been bitten? If it is more than 24 hours, you do not need to get the shot, because the vaccine is only effective within 24 hours. Your own dog is not a big problem because you know its health well, and if it is an unfamiliar dog, it is a different matter.

No problem, don't have a psychological burden, just be careful in the future.

Let's get it, I'm still scratched by a cat and bleeding, and I haven't been vaccinated. It's okay now, rabies will hide in the body for years.

Let's go to the hospital and ask the doctor, has the dog been vaccinated against rabies? If you don't, you should still be vaccinated.

Are the house dogs still around??? If you are still there, you don't get an injection Generally, if you are bitten by a dog, wash the wound first and then take the injection, and finally observe for 10 days, if the dog is still there, you can stop the injection or continue to inject, but it does not mean that you will be observed if you are bitten by a dog, and if you don't get an injection, rabies will develop very quickly, and some of you will have 10 days, and it will be too late to get an injection at that time.

Looks like you're a dog lover too.

I don't know much about butterfly dogs, but my husky was infected with parvovirus when he was 3 months old, he was not energetic, and he had diarrhea, and there was blood in the poop the next day, and he lay motionless on the ground. Later, I took it to the hospital, and the doctor said that it was parvovirus, but it was in time, otherwise I wouldn't have seen it now. I was hospitalized for 4 days, and then I took it home, and the doctor said it was best not to eat. >>>More

It's been so long, so I guess it's no big problem. However, I heard that rabies has an incubation period, so it is recommended that you go to the hospital for a check-up.
