Lin Yongcheng, born in Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province in January 1945, is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Sun Yat-sen University. He won the first prize of the State Education Commission in 1988 and the second prize of the State Education Commission in 1989. In 1990, he won the third prize of the National Natural Science Award, and in 1991, he won the third prize of the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Award.
