First, build a breeding pond.
1.Ponds and ditches should be rebuilt to be used as breeding ponds for leeches. If artificial construction is required, the pond should be about 2 meters high, 3 meters wide, 1 meter deep, and unlimited in length.
2.The drain and water inlet of the feeding pond should be guarded with mesh to prevent leeches from escaping.
2. Breeding requirements.
1.During the breeding period, about 80,000 young leeches can be put into the breeding pond per mu, and about 20 kg of leeches can be put into the breeding leeches.
2.Some branches and stones should be placed at the bottom of the pond. At the same time, an appropriate amount of aquatic vegetation should be planted, such as aquatic plants, cattails, lotus roots, callus white, etc. It provides a place for leeches to perch, spawn and shade, and creates a good living environment for leeches.
3.You can sprinkle some manure in the feeding pond, which can not only regulate the water quality, cultivate plankton, but also increase the humus content at the bottom of the pond, which is conducive to the growth of leeches.
Three. Day-to-day management.
1.Water quality should be controlled during the breeding process. The use of pesticides and chemicals is prohibited at the pond inlet to avoid polluting the water quality.
2.The water temperature should be kept within a suitable range, and it is not advisable to use well water with too low temperature to breed leeches. If you use spring water, wait until the water temperature rises before putting it in the pond (too alkaline spring water cannot be used to raise leeches).
3.Keep an eye on the changes in water temperature in the summer. Too high a water temperature can affect the growth of leeches. When the sun hits the surface of the water, the water temperature rises. It is advisable to plant some shade plants next to the pond and increase the number of water changes to keep the water temperature at 15-30.
Four. Feed management.
1.During the breeding period, shellfish, grass shrimp, snails, animal blood, etc. You can feed it, but don't feed it too much.
2.For every 100 square meters of water surface, about 5 kg of snails can be placed. Every week, wooden blocks (without salt) with blood clots of livestock can be placed in the pond. The blood clot cannot be left in place for more than 2 days.

Leech Farming Technology:
1. Site selection. Choose a place facing south and facing north, sheltered from wind and sun, requiring convenient drainage and irrigation and sufficient sunshine. The pond is 3 meters wide and deep, and the length can be determined according to the size of the site.
The bottom of the pool is grouting with cement, with the principle of no leakage, the pool is set diagonally with inlet and drainage, and the bottom of the pool should be high in the north and low in the south, so as to facilitate drainage and irrigation. The pond is surrounded by loose sandy soil rich in humus to facilitate the laying of eggs by leeches. In the middle of the pond, a platform is built above the water surface to keep it moist, and some stones and branches are placed at the bottom of the pond to supply leeches to inhabit.
2. Water quality. Artificially cultivated leeches have a high density, and need to change the water frequently in the feeding process, and prevent the pollution of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, especially in the high temperature season from July to August, it is necessary to ensure that the water inlet and outlet are unblocked, the water quality is fresh and there must be a certain amount of dissolved oxygen.
3. Seed leeches. The selection of leeches requires individual hypertrophy, with more than 12 grams per leech, strong activity, smooth body surface, bright color without scars, and a stocking density of 20-25 kg per mu (2000-2500).
4. Incubation. Leeches generally breed and lay eggs above 11, and hatch young leeches after 16-25 days. During the spawning period, it is necessary to keep quiet near the pond so as not to alarm the spawning leeches and cause empty egg cocoons.
Avoid walking around the platform during the hatching period to avoid stepping on the egg cocoon. The hatched young leeches can eat the blood of mussels and snails on their own after 3 days, so they should put in sufficient feed, generally 20 kg of snails and mussels per 1,000 leeches, and feed the blood clots of livestock once a week for them to eat freely. However, it is important to keep the water clean by removing blood residue and other leftover food at all times.
5. Overwintering. Under natural conditions, when the temperature drops below 10, they will stop feeding and burrow into the mud for wintering. Artificial breeding can cover straw and other materials around the pond to keep warm and help leeches overwinter naturally.
It is also possible to concentrate the breeding leeches in the plastic film shed for wintering, feed once a half month, and mate and lay eggs when the temperature rises slightly.
6. Natural enemies. The natural enemies of leeches with disease prevention and control mainly include voles, frogs, weasels, snakes, etc., which can be controlled by microgrids and trapped. Under normal circumstances, the vitality of leeches is strong, basically no disease, as long as the water source is not polluted by chemical fertilizers, pesticides and saline-alkaline solutions, keep the water inlet and outlet unobstructed, the food is fresh, remove the feed residues in time, and change the water frequently to raise leeches, otherwise, ** disease and intestinal disease may occur.

Leech breeding technology includes breeding environment, seedling stocking, bait management, daily management, and temperature control.
1. Breeding environment
The breeding site of leeches should be established in an environment with good shelter from wind and friendly nuclei and suitable light. In spring and autumn, the light needed for leech growth can be met, and then in winter, it can be done to protect against the cold.
When we establish a farm, we should not only build it reasonably according to the living habits of water quality, but also ensure that the water quality, temperature and humidity, light and other conditions are suitable, so as to create a good growth environment for leeches. It is also necessary to minimize costs, reduce costs, and improve the efficiency of breeding.
2. Seedlings are put in
If it is in the countryside, leech seedlings can be harvested from the wild. When breeding, we have to choose a good breed, and now the most common breeding species are mainly leeches. The growth ability of the leech is very strong, with a strong reproductive ability, and the yield is relatively stable.
The breeding period of leeches is generally concentrated in June, so the stocking time of seedlings should be controlled in spring.
3. Bait management
The bait of leeches is mainly snail meat and plankton, and the flesh and internal organs of various animals are generally selected as bait for feeding. And with an appropriate amount of crop straw, it can be polycultured with some ordinary snails to provide natural bait for leeches.
4. Daily management
The disease resistance of leeches is relatively strong, so our main management work in aquaculture is to regulate water quality. Although wild leeches do not have very strict requirements for water quality, if the water quality changes too much under artificial breeding, it will have a great impact on their growth and reproduction.
5. Temperature control
When breeding, the water temperature should be controlled at about 20-30 degrees, and a certain amount of dissolved oxygen should be ensured. If there is a lack of oxygen in imitation wax, it is necessary to inject water in time or dig a lot to increase oxygen.
There are many kinds of processing methods, but now there are only two kinds of leech dry goods in the market, one is clear water hanging dry goods. The second is parallel goods. >>>More
